Ryan Howard taking an o-fer didn't help either. yeah, he was always going to struggle in this series with all the LHP the yankees threw out there. his line against lhp was .207/.298//.356/.653. charlie manuel is generally a good manager, but i have no idea why he still hits howard in the cleanup spot against lefties. he's awful against them whereas werth destroys them. letting hideki matsui look like babe ruth kinda hurt too. Howard is a "star", you don't move your star players down in the order. Howard is a cleanup hitter dude!

San Diego D @ Giants Baltimore D @ Cincy Indianapolis D vs Houston. I need 2 of those, and leaning towards Balt and Indy. Clinton Portis @ ATL Johnny Knox vs Arizona Sproles @ Giants Need 1 and I'm leaning towards Portis, but think Knox may be able to do something this week.

Good call You realize right after I said that is when Favre threw the 2 passes that should have been picked off right? The one off AP's hands that went in the air is normally a INT in the NFL, and the 2nd one that bounced up in the air and hit about half the players on the field yet still fell to the ground? Favre played a good game, but my comment wasn't out of line. At that point in the 3rd quarter he was starting to get flustered and proceeded to throw 2 passes in the same series which normally end up as INT's.

It would be nice if Deng could bring this type of effort and stats to every game. He has games like this, then disappears for a game or 2, and then has another game or 2 like this. If he could get consistent it would be a pretty big lift for this team.

Cutler was getting destroyed. He took a helmet to the chin and bit his tongue pretty severely...and then was planted a few other times...guy really looked like he'd been through a war by the end. He has to hate his line. I know I do. You gotta think the O-line will be Angelo's priority going forward...you can't have your franchise QB, the one you just gave an extension to, getting killed on a regular basis back there. Not to mention Forte not being able to to run for a couple of yards for a TD in the red zone most of the time, because the line keeps getting pushed back rather than get an inch of penetration. The problem is how do they upgrade it? Draft? You might be able to get a starter in the 3rd round but I doubt it. Free agency? If I recall correctly, the free agent pool of offensive lineman this offseason is pretty poor.

When your offensive line is as bad as ours is, there isn't going to be any crispness. Shouldn't the coaching staff recognize the weakness and scheme around it? A terrible offensive line is hard to work around Yea I'm not sure how to work around a terrible OLine.
