  1. If by annoying you mean hilarious, then yes.
  2. I'll be happy if he cracks 100 again in this run environment, but I sure miss the days of 130 RBI's being the norm for good hitters. Run environment has been fixed...at least it was last year.
  3. guys on ESPN1000 saying, Waddle is telling them that he is hearing, "worst case scenario". ACL and other ligaments. As I pointed out before, that's not exactly worse than an ACL tear, because from that direction you had to tear the LCL BEFORE you could tear the ACL. could be a meniscal tear as well, as others on this forum have pointed out. My point: people on NSBB > radio jokers.
  4. I thought the swelling had to go down before he had surgery, not for the MRI. Or maybe its both. No it's the amputation that you can do right away, I'm pretty sure. Setting up for a conference. Laughed VERY loud. Everyone stared.
  5. If it's a ligament, it's definitely medial. If it's ACL, then it's ACL AND MCL.
  6. I had my lateral meniscus removed (his would be the medial). Squatting is torture.
  7. I'm usually optimistic, but I'd be shocked if there's not a ligament or meniscus tear. X-ray revealed the sprain and we used that to be momentarily happy, but it's about time to face the sadness. At that point the catcher stuff will be over and most of us we'll wish we just had a DH which will never come. X-ray doesn't reveal sprain. All xray reveals is that there's no break. Mri will tell if there's a ligament tear.
  8. Is this still the case? Last I saw from AZPhil had Baez getting plunked in the head down in EXST and that he hasn't seen the field since. I think I saw an article about the dbacks looking for cf help. Maybe showcase him this series and then trade him. Even if Baez isn't ready bring up Kawasaki until he is. Not like we need the back of the bench for awhile.
  9. they may have switched to home team feed [tweet] [/tweet] Haha...thanks. be-a-utiful.
  10. holy crap, i always figured him as a mouth breather but that surpassed my expectations I didn't like the "its just one win and we were partying like it was a playoff series win" He was great at the Convention though. Kind of a jerk to Lester, I mean really slamming him, but you got the vibe that they have the kind of relationship that could support it. I'm trying really hard to like him. A solid performance tonight would go a long way.
  11. I think the opposite of the definition of average is the antonym of average which according to the internet is abnormal. http://i.imgur.com/TTyTv.gif Outlier?
  12. He's not wearing those this season. Only injury of the year: Soler, Frostbitten face.
  13. Counterpoint: http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/9-08-2015/7Ve7Sl.gif So much more satisfying. too relevant.
  14. I hope he's ok. I want the Cardinals to be ridiculously healthy this year so that their fans have to acknowledge their badness. Ugh, no. I am a firm believer in this when it comes to the Cardinals: They're due. don't get me wrong. I want them to be awful. I want every player on the team to under perform. I just don't want their fanbase to have any excuses for the awfulness.
  15. I hope he's ok. I want the Cardinals to be ridiculously healthy this year so that their fans have to acknowledge their badness.
  16. Cubs start the season as #1 on the ESPN power rankings. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/page/seasonpreview_teampreviews10-1/mlb-ranking-top-10-mlb-teams-heading-2016 While I don't really care about these things anymore, that little part of me that is still 13 years old has been waiting for this forever.
  17. There's barely anything left of him.
  18. So... How 'bout them Cubbies?
  19. Literally nobody except religious creeps want to hear any kind of religious pop song because it's all terrible garbage music. I like a wide variety of music. On my goto playlist is Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Marley and Elton John. As a musician, there is very little on Christian radio that I find appealing. But the "all Christian music is crap" was 25 years ago. You specifically said "religious pop" and I would probably agree. But to me most all pop music is garbage. There are niches within the niche where you can find some great music. PM and I'll send you some examples. I wouldn't want to provide links publicly, thereby inflicting my views on innocent bystanders
  20. Thankfully, in America, you have that right. That does not preclude his right to play his favorite song like everyone else. I'm telling you man, that's not his favorite song. And in this country we frown on shameless promotion I'm clearly still missing something. Why is it not his favorite song?
