Fair enough. You were the second guy to comment something that made it sound like I was horrible person for making light of concussions. I just happen to find humor in everything. You name it, I can laugh at it. And my cervix is just fine, thank you. Wait, what? odd that you find humor in everything but tell someone making a joke not to lecture you. Yep, probably should have responded to nonprofitcow's smug response instead.

That must have been one serious concussion. also known as a "concussion" I've had concussions on multiple occasions. A pretty serious one in a flip over car accident that also broke my third cervical vertebra. Don't lecture me. The wording was funny. Made it sound like he was unconscious for several weeks. Lighten up.

Yuppers. Joe's approval means everything to me. I almost asked Bosio about Arrieta basically saying (On the Dempster show) Bos had no impact on his success last year. Decided not to create division.

I just asked Joe a question based on this tweet in the coaching staff panel discussion.bi asked if he thought this tweet was a dare to opposing hitters or a genuine desire to not have the ball hit to him. I made Joe Maddon laugh!

That's a long way away. Obviously August is a long way away. I'm just throwing out a legitimate possible scenario that could occur down the road, along with how I would respond to said scenario. I wouldn't be opposed to doing the same thing with Jon Lester. Having both Wood and Warren in the bullpen, along with a commanding NL Central in August, could afford that sort of luxury. Assuming Arrieta doesn't pay for those innings and sliders with dl time early in the year Assuming The rest of the rotation is healthy and effective. Assuming you have a big lead in the division (which you noted) Assuming you haven't made trades at the deadline that change the rotation dynamics. Lots of variables to be talking resting your rotation for the playoffs before pitchers and catchers even report. -
