    I was referring to Jones all along. If I may word it correctly, "his bat does not compensate for Floyd's power or Murton's OBP, his hits come in meaningless situations and his arm is as accurate as my 3-year old peeing in the potty". I'm one advocating to see Murton play regularly. My three-year-old pees in the potty very accurately. But she's a girl. Does that mean Jones is a girl? Or that we need a girl in RF? Only if she weighs as much as a duck.

Lou is more concerned about Sori getting hurt than he is about Floyd getting hurt...........................good decision His replacement (Floyd) can't hit 1st, so you look for a replacement. Don't want to mess with 3-7, don't want to pressure Pie, and you're trying to get Theriot playing time any way..................................good decision You can put Floyd 2 or 8. He's been hotter than Pie, so he hits second (Floyd hits 2nd over Pie, Pie hits 2nd over Izturis)................good decision The only decision I would've like better would have been Murton over Floyd, but the logic above would still stand. There is very little difference between the two line ups. And can be explained by: Protect Soriano from injuries, and can't hit Floyd or Izturis lead-off.

    In this case it's referring to the Other Games thread, which hardly ever are more than a couple pages. And often avoided for lack of interest. I think if there's no thread that obviously refers to the subject from the title (no one would look at "other games thread" and know that there's a controversial moment, ie toriiiii and his champange/getting plunked deal-e-o, discussed there) that another thread should be allowed if only to provide the linkage.

    I would hope he would make those plays. He really did not have to range into the hole to make a play. Everything was hit right at him. Im still not that confident with him at ss. Lou said that Theriot is the SS and for good reason. At least he can get on base. And by the way, MVP is a real solid game for the computer. I do have 30 homers with Lee at the end of May though :lol: I missed that. When did he say that.

    Wasn't that supposed to be this team's weakness? Powerful lineup, great, overcrowded bullpen, questionable starting pitching. This will not last. But then neither will Lee's powerlessness.

    In a 14 inning game... and it was a pinch runner. Anyway, these things happen in 14 inning games. Just be thankful that Theriot (best comparison to Doug Dascenzo?) didn't end up pitching
