  1. Blackhawks were very, very lucky they called offsetting penalties there. Boynton is an idiot for that slash. They have completely lost their composure. Choke choke choke.
  2. They showed the slash pretty clearly on CBC. Versus must have shown bad replays.
  3. 2-2 or not, this team is falling apart and facing a bad matchup problem. It's theoretically possible they might get lucky and steal two games they don't deserve, but it's not going to happen. Give me a break, are you aware of the garbage Philly has in net? It's going to cost them. I'll see you in a week.
  4. Choke against the forecheck? Check. Bad penalty? Check Bad penalty kill? Coming up
  5. It's only going to get worse. I'm going to drown this thread with my tears. we both will, and it won't make either of us hurt any less Honestly, it helps a little. I'm into "amused" phase.

  8. That's silly. Without him, it'll be that much harder to get to a situation where our team is 97+% likely to win and still lose.
  9. Who else belongs there? Hossa? Putting all your eggs in one basket. Versteeg? He's been the worst forward the whole series. brouwer had success there in the regular season. i'd go with him. he hasn't been that good in the postseason, but byfuglien is a disaster right now. he destroys the possession every single time he gets the puck. Brouwer's been almost as bad as Versteeg. He's a bad penalty and turnover machine. I'm not against a shuffle, though. But it's futile.
  10. I think they've basically been about even when the teams are even strength. Hell, Philly didn't get a shot for ten minutes. Dominated for 4 games? Sorry, I'll stop and let you vent. Did you watch the third period of game 3? (and the teams aren't always going to be at full strength, and our special teams are a big reason we're in trouble)

  12. Well, it'll still be there. It'll just be going to the Flyers. Philadelphia fans have had to wait a whole 18 months since they last saw a championship, or something like that.
  13. This is the 63rd sports season I've watched. I don't know why it would end differently than the other 62, watching someone else's fans celebrating. (This is the perfect attitude, because if they win I get all the joy, and when they lose at least I get to be right).
  14. Vancouver and San Jose fans thought the Blackhawks got away with everything, too. This is just how it feels to be a fan of the team that is going to lose the series.
  15. Maybe we'll tuck our tails between our legs and give up, leaving Flyers wide open beside the net.
  16. Scoreboard. And an even bigger scoreboard for where we'll be after game 6. Histrionic woe is me BS. The Hawks are up on the scoreboard that matters and they won't be down no matter what happens tonight. I'll be around a week from now to continue this conversation. Hope to see you then and I'll post some nice pictures of Pronger lifting the Cup.
  17. Before the Flyers' second goal, I think I counted four easy chances to clear the puck and they choked every one of them. Choke choke choke. Toews especially is choking. He simply cannot finish.
  18. i'm as negative as anybody, but come on. you really think the hawks have been dominated for 4 games? I think they've been dominated when it counted in at least two, probably three of the games. And those are the most recent.
  19. Scoreboard. And an even bigger scoreboard for where we'll be after game 6.
  20. 4) Refs on the other team's side Does it matter? We can't score and our penalty kill is atrocious. They could give us 10 power plays and the Flyers 2, and they'd still get more PP goals.
  21. Going into the series, he was leading the team in shots. Not sure if he is now.
  22. We're in Game 7 of the 2003 NLCS mode now. It's not "over" but we all know how this ends. The period was a perfect example of how the rest of the series is going to go: 1) Stupid penalties 2) Ineffective powerplay 3) Folding to the forecheck
  23. Instead of homicide, suicide? False choice.
