You do realize you can't just do that, right? Well, we'd have to expose him to waivers and/or give him the opportunity to decline the assignment, right? Sounds pretty doable. I think he would pass through waivers at this point. Not too many teams would be willing to pay the remainder of his salary for a sketchy 7/8th inning guy with horrible control issues and a serious case of the yips.
