    Lake optioned to Iowa to make room for Straily. I think as long as he comes up within 20 days (and with roster expansion, he can if they want), it doesn't burn the last option. But will there be 40-man space for him?

    IT'S BEEN LIKE 10 GAMES. That's why I'm not going to do it. Just takes some patience and self-discipline when he looks as hopeless as he did in that AB. early adopters get more credit when baez has a .265 obp 500 pa's into his career I don't think that's all that far off, and it doesn't bother me.

    My kid doesn't say much, but he does occasionally swear in front of other people when he's mad. I tell them his mom does it in front of him and there's nothing I can do about it, even though I practically give him lessons.

    Protecting kids from swearing is the worst reason for banning it. Swearing is awesome, why wouldn't you want kids exposed to it? Just try to teach them appropriate contexts, and laugh when they fail and swear in church.
