Has any MLB team ever batted around three straight innings?

29 years old, first major-league PA. I've never been glad for a Cubs opponent to get an RBI hit before.

I'd just throw Chad Fox out there till his arm literally fell off, but I'm a heartless jerk.

According to fangraph.com stats, coming into tonight 179 MLB batters had at least 120 PAs. Out of those, 5 Cubs rank in the top 40 for lowest percentage of pitches outside the strike zone swung at, and no Cubs rank in the bottom 50.

Maybe. But honestly, it's still pretty much a coin flip. More encouraging than the poster that said the Cubs have a 70% chance of winning this one the highest odds he can give out. Oh, wasn't that you? Yep. With Zambrano's leadoff double, I give a slight edge to the Cubs.

Why would they want to look at stats? They watch the games. That's all that matters. Iowa is going to be loaded in about a week. By my count, they'd have our best CFer, two of our best five starters and several relievers better than Chad Fox.
