  1. Kaner. Don't forecheck. That's not who you are.
  2. If a guy does something that bothers you when he beats you, the solution is to not let him beat you.
  3. If that's how Kane needs to play to stay healthy and be effective in the playoffs, then I'll take it. He's listed at 175 pounds, but I don't think he's much more than 160, and he'd be destroyed trying to play tough for an entire regular season.
  4. 56 on nicknames. The only sport I swept was hockey.
  5. I can't imagine that anybody had them 32nd following the 05 season, but I suppose anything is possible. Maybe it was before 05. He definitely had them No. 32 preseason one year where they were good.
  6. Didn't he have the Bears 32nd in the Super Bowl year?
  7. That kind of confirms something I've been saying for awhile: people like to say the NHL doesn't belong in the "Big Four," but the NBA is slipping itself. Really, it's more a series of several tiers: NFL MLB, college football NBA, college basketball NHL, golf, soccer Other niche sports I'm not sure where I'd put NASCAR in there, and I may be wildly wrong on a few placements, but the principle of tiers is sound, imo.
  8. Blackhawks to play European champ. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news;_ylt=AhIsu.AjBiKx4J6V9D7JuJp7vLYF?slug=ap-blackhawks-europeanvisit&prov=ap&type=lgns
  9. FYP. I just can't see how they don't destroy us, just like they did in the regular season when they actually had something to play for (in December when we were sneaking into the divisional race). It's not like Calgary (where we matched our skill against their size and physicality) or Vancouver (our skill vs. their goalie who bails out their otherwise mediocre team). It's skill vs. skill, and they have more of it.
  10. It doesn't take an idiot to blow through $9 million. If you aren't used to managing money, you probably will blow it. Most pro athletes do.
  11. 122 across the NHL, NBA, MLB and NFL, 10 minutes. http://www.sporcle.com/games/us_sportsteams.php I got all but 3 in the MLB, a disappointing all but 7 in the NHL. I wasn't surprised that I missed 12 in the NBA, but somehow I froze on the NFL and missed 12 there too. Total, a pathetic 88.
  12. The Chicagoblackhawks.com boards were going nuts on no-calls all game, so I imagine Cyno would have too.
  13. The Chicago Blackhawks are one win away from the Western Conference finals.
  14. Ballgame. Kessler might not want to return to Vancouver if they lose game 6.
  15. Kane gets the last laugh! Great play to keep the puck in the zone, then Mitchell loses his stick trying to slash Byfuglien, then Kane with a great pass to Bolland for the go-ahead goal!
  16. Kane should have drawn the call on that shot, then the Hawks practically humped a guy from behind to stop him from getting in on the rush. But the Kane hook was the worst.
  17. Kane must be getting a rep as a diver, because he's not getting obvious calls.
  18. Actually, I'm not sure if it was 10 minute or game now either. Who knows.
  19. Yes. And thank goodness. Walker has great heart, but he worries me.
  20. Did Cyno get a new login? That one couldn't have been more obvious.
  21. Excellent, excellent period. Both teams look pumped.
  22. 10 guys shoving, and one guy throws a clean crosscheck. It was a legit call.
  23. Vancouver's PP is really, really good.
  24. Ladd threw a cross-check while everyone else was shoving with their gloves.
