matt harrington was featured on otl- he now works at costco for 11.50/hr. he did collect on an insurance policy for his shoulder and something from a suit against his agent. so his talent wasnt completely wasted. -

pretty sure manuel had a half-hearted discussion with the umps. he had the decency to wait until the meatwagon left the field, which is commendable.

i didnt see the opening minutes today, but the canucks got away with a cheap shot at the end of their 3-0 victory friday. i expected the blues to come out angry.

blues dont score with 2 minutes of 5 vs 3, followed by 2 minutes of 5 vs 4. still lead 1-0 at the end of the first.

i've probably watched no more than a handful of games total before today, when i watched the second half. i am floored by how easy rose gets to the basket. i had heard all year rondo was some great defender, and if the lane was open it was all derrick's. he has a way to go to compare to cp3's passing ability, but i havent seen paul score in the lane like rose. -
if we had wieters, would that be enough? i dont know why i keep wondering this.

Wigginton would have made a lot more sense than Aaron frickin' Miles. wigginton doesnt cover ss, though. i really wish we could've taken last years team, and swapped bradley for edmonds and called it an offseason.

i guess miles does compare favorably to neifi. it sure seems like he got a lot of AB's at 3B.

the way things stand now, yes. I was assuming they'd find at least another backup middle infielder before the season started. It will be interesting to see how they handle double switches, as well as those days when they want to rest Aramis, make him unavailable, but not put him on the DL. well this seems like a big problem to me. maybe its not that unusual for most NL teams though.

is miles the only backup for 2b, 3b, and ss?

I think he knows that you can't tackle shooters. come on, the marquette guy clearly jumped into the defender trying to buy a call. i don't care if you hate mizzou, try to show some objectivity here. theres nothing more irritating than when an offensive player does this. good no call.
