    I was wondering why nobody was commenting on the game. For once it pays to live in St. Louis. So far the offense has actually looked pretty good. They've gotten some good looks, especially Davis, just haven't been able to hit 'em, but I guess that's to be expected. what channel?

    cuban doesnt have time to keep quiet and let the sec complete their investigation. his only chance to stay in the hunt for the cubs is to get the charges dropped and soon.

    i was at both of those games, too. i dont think i couldve survived another blown save at busch in cubs gear. good luck, kerry. always will be one of my faves.

    Roe coached my dad in the 60s in the Ozarks. I imagine that had to be a thrill to have an ML star as a coach. He only had good things to say about him.

    Agreed. I'd be up for doing it again, but I'll be out of town this weekend. i would be up for it next week. game 5 would be tuesday, correct? i almost made it last night. when they are losing, i get really irritatable and need to distract myself - change the channel, get on computer, etc so maybe its good i didnt go. Same here...the company was good...the game, not so much. I'm watching from my in-laws basement tonight...hoping the location change will change the result....maybe we could do it again for game 4 or 5?

    one of the very few plays I saw over the crowd in Chili's at the Minneapolis airport that sounds like an all-together awful experience.

    What part of Central Illinois? near springfield, then school in B-N. i would be limited to night games during the week, and i'd prefer something in west county.

    having moved here from central IL, there is something to be said about living near country with hills, streams, and caves. i dont miss the vast expanse of flat cornfields i grew up with. of course its full of edentulous rednecks here, but thats part of its charm. and if its crime ridden urban lanscape youre after, well we've got that too. its the best of both worlds. definitely up for stl nsbb get together.
