Anyone with some insight. I've always wondered this, and if its possible to intentionally swing at a wild pitch with 2 strikes and run to first. It's possible, but you've gotta be real quick on your feet to recognize that pitch is going to the backstop. I used to do the other thing you were talking about when I'd get IBBd in coed softball. Swing on the first 2 to go down 0-2 in the count. This was of course not baseball though. My thing is I think guys should let infield fly rule pop ups drop. I'd figure at least 5 times a year you'd have some dumb guy getting doubled off since they don't understand the rule. there's no point in catching them, right?
