    Way under. What's "way"? I'd say closer to 250/320/410 with 15-18 HR very likely. 780 OPS with his D would make him the top SS in the game. He's not there yet. Anyone have a rough idea on what difference 730 vs 780 OPS would mean to WAR or runs created?

    How would a Wrigley crowd, or any home crowd, have handled that? The tying run scored! At best a bunch of trash gets thrown on field, at worst a full blown riot would happen.

    I dont think we're related, but I agree. Make 2 infielders start on either side of 2nd base, no big deal. I am curious why we dont see more bunting or slapping oppo in this situation. I hate seeing so many late inning pitching changes. Forcing them to pitch to more than 1 batter would bring up enforcement problems, fake injuries etc. Is 1 pitch enough? Less Lefty lefty matchups and the resulting 500 OPS would be a good thing.

    did Dakich really think they were going to call a flop from the video replay earlier? Unless something's different this year, they go to the video to look for head contact and intentional fouls and thats about it.

    Last night was the first chance I"ve had to see UI. Was impressed with Hill. Hopefully the team-wide outside shooting strength is not a fluke. Obviously post play is the big concern. The team may be sweet 16 good if Egwu's foul problems are under control.

    Can technical fouls be given for flopping? Going to the replay everytime an elbow is involved is getting old.

    where are you drawing these conclusions from Isn't the whole article about how theres not room for much payroll increase? Wrigley renovations and TV money are not coming soon. He had revenue at 300M and expenses at 264M with a 100M payroll.
