    I haven't seen anywhere, but has Goodell issued a ruling on the Charles Grant and Will Smith's suspensions? I'm curious to what he'll do considering he's blocked from suspended the Williams wall by the court ruling.

    I'm not focusing on it just because it went against us, and I don't think it cost us the game (surely not any more than giving up a kickoff return for a score and an unforced fumble in our own territory did). I posted it because no one in the supposedly pro-ND media is running with the story and otherwise no one else would know about it, and also to emphasize how shady refs have been and continue to be at UM (for no reason I can think of, ND/UM is the only contract I know of in college football where the home team gets to pick the refs). The selection of officials is part of any contract that is signed when teams play OOC games. The teams can stipulate to where the crews come from, leave it up to the home team, seek other conference crews, etc. Smaller schools probably have less say in this. I know the LSU-Washington game was done by Pac-10 refs as LSU allowed that in the contract. So, I don't think ND/UM is the only one. It may be a rare case; that I can't speak. I'm sure it happens sometimes and others not. I don't know the frequency though.

    I'll be watching week 2 games while tailgating and waiting for the start of the Cowboys-Giants Sunday night first regular season game at the awesome Cowboys Stadium! It's going to be a blast!

    Cowboys defense was sloppy and it took awhile for the offense to get going, but overall a good first game. I think the offense has more weapons than people give it credit for and McBriar being healthy and Buehler had a booming leg that will help with the field position battle all year. I'm ready for next week and the Giants!

    LSU wins (albeit in sloppy fashion) and the UL-Monroe Warhawks win! Nice day.

    woo...I get to start another one of these. I don't think I've watched more than six innings of Cubs baseball since my run began. I plan to keep that ratio up tomorrow. Go Cubs...like anyone cares.

    I don't believe it. Not the part that Joe Ricketts gave them free tickets. I don't believe there really was a family willing to watch this crap this year.

    The league told him 85 ft and he placed it 90 feet. He is moving an ad that is on the lower part of it, but there are no plans to move it. After the season, the NFL may revisit the issue, but from what I heard it would cost in the millions to have it moved and that if it is moved, the league would fit the bill.

    I'm really looking forward to seeing the Cowboys play the Giants in a couple of weeks in that beautiful new stadium.

    I'm guessing no one is interested, but I have one hour to fill it before my draft gets canceled. So...if you want to try out an auction draft...and it is pretty damn cool, then hit me up asap.
