The Cowboys finally looked like a decent team today. Two great games by Miles Austin. Maybe he can be the deep threat the Cowboys sorely need. Romo finally had his ish together today too. The defense also looked like they figured out how to tackle someone. We really need the win over the Seahawks next week as we have some tough road games coming up.

That certainly wouldn't surprise me. What? That the Raiders would take Tebow or that SSR got hard thinking about Tim Tebow?

If it's true the Bengals offered a second round pick for Bennett, part of me wishes we would have taken it.

It is scientifically proven that wearing orange makes you run faster. It is true. Former poster duecebaseman and I got a bunch of our friends to run a 40-yd dash while we timed with the stop watch. They ran a number of trials, each time wearing a different color. Every single one of them ran a half second faster while wearing orange. I know it seems crazy, but it's true. Incidentially, the there was a lot of confusion when they ran wearing plaid.

Not a fan of the current coaching free agent class? Holmgren, Cowher, Shanahan, Gruden...I feel like I'm missing someone. dungy (and the crew of UFL guys) Dungy...man how'd he slip my mind? I really don't think he's interested in coaching again. Not sure about Cowher either. I think Cowher would take the Carolina job, but not sure about any other. I really don't think Dungy is interested in coaching again...at least not any time soon.

Not a fan of the current coaching free agent class? Holmgren, Cowher, Shanahan, Gruden...I feel like I'm missing someone. It's not that I don't like those guys. I think any of those could be good choices. I don't think Cowher would be in the mix though. I'd probably still take Fisher over all of them. But adding Fisher to a group of Shanahan, Holmgren, and Gruden makes the chance Jerry screws it up a lot less.

I would like to see the Titans dismiss Fisher simply because I would love to see him replace Wade in Dallas next year.

It's going to be a tough game this week for the Cowboys, but at least most of the guys are getting healthy. I'm curious to see how they rotate Jones, Barber, and Choice now that Felix is healthy and Barber has had an off week to heal. I think Choice has earned his share of the carries, but we'll see. I hope Austin has another big game. Roy Williams practiced yesterday and should play as well.

I think the most memorable Cubs play was watching Barrett bitchslap A.J. Hell, I'll never forget that day. -
I met Rudy once in 1996. I asked him for a ball and he said, "here ya go, son!" and tossed me one. That's my brush with Rudy.

Jaramillo is without a doubt the best hitting coach in the majors. This would be a big deal.

that was a nice pass and catch on the TD yeah. I was planning on going to the game, but that weather is horrible out there tonight. I'm already fighting a cold, so there was no sense sitting in the rain all night.
