    A Carolina win will only get your hopes up for the season which the Panthers will likely dash next week. vs Miami on Thursday night, @ Jets Thanksgiving weekend, vs Bucs the next three. Damn it Panthers, you might just suck me in again. I really don't see the Panthers making the playoffs. They'll have to be a WC, and I don't see them making above the other teams.

    Every time I watch Steven Jackson, I curse Bill Parcells. The Cowboys should have drafted him, but because Tuna liked Julius [expletive] Jones, he traded down and the Boys ended up with Julius Jones and Jacob Rogers. :x

    So far, my wife has voted every day as did I. I got one friend and then my mom to vote. But that looks like it's about it. On the other hand, I didn't see many votes for northsidebaseball.

    If anyone buys one, let me know the quality. I'm more interested in some football jerseys than I am baseball though.

    I'm no fan of the Yankees, but I think it is hard to objectively say there is any team that has even an argument for best team. The Yankees have the most wins of the decade, they have the best winning percentage of the decade, they have the most division titles, and they have the most playoff appearances. They are tied for the number of World Series wins. If another team had won more WS, I would probably vote that way since that is the ultimate goal. On the other hand, the Yankees are equal to all in that category, and have had more regular season success than anyone as well. We tend to forget a lot of that because most of the success was toward the beginning of the decade, but they are still the best team. It doesn't matter to me what they spent or how they achieved it. They did it within the means available to them. I don't like the team and wish hard times on them, but there is little doubt in my mind they should be considered the best team of the decade.

    A Cowboys win Sunday would be huge. There's a tough December schedule looming, but the next two games would be vs the Redskins and Raiders. A win against the Packers would pave the way for the Cowboys to be 9-2 heading into the final five.

    Well, that makes betting on those games easier.

    I was hoping to win 2 out of 3 vs. Philly, Atlanta, and Green Bay. Now with a chance to win all 3 and move to 7-2 on the season is great. Very true. Also, if we beat Green Bay, there's a good chance we could end up 9-2 with five games to play. After the Packers, the Boys have Washington at home and Oakland on Thanksgiving. So, the season is shaping up pretty good for the Cowboys. The game Sunday is big for us because even with the difficult last five (Redskins are the only weak team in that last stretch), if the Cowboys hit that final five with only 2 losses, we will be in a great position to claim a spot in the playoffs.

    What a great win by the Cowboys. After the Denver loss, I was skeptical about the season, but they have looked pretty good since playing Atlanta three weeks ago. If we can win next week at Green Bay, we'll be set pretty nicely having Washington and Oakland at home before going into the tough December schedule.

    The Saints are really missing Fajita and Ellis. It shows in the run defense.

    I love it when people start blaming losses on the ref.

    I'm really getting pumped up for the Cowboys-Eagles game. While it isn't a must win by any means, it is a huge game which could set us up well for the division if we win.

    It's going to be a very tough road game for the Cowboys this week, but if they can win, it puts them in the driver's seat to win the division.

    Big game for the Warhawks vs Troy. The winner likely wins the Sunbelt and gets a bowl berth. ULM is hoping starting QB Trey Levell is back for the game or they will have a freshman QB starting his second game in what is a really big game for the Warhawks.
