    It also looks like Cowboys-Eagles will play back-to-back. The only question is will both games be in Arlington or one in Arlington and the second in Philly.

    It isn't. Think of the Saints as the Cubs. They're toast. They're banged up. They missed a chip shot field goal. The Saints are fine. I do think they need to run it a little more though...why do they ignore Pierre Thomas? Did he get hurt? Pierre Thomas left with bruised ribs....maybe cracked...waiting on x-rays.

    WTF is with kickers this year. Is it just me, or does it seem that a lot of kickers are missing a lot of what should be routine field goals this year?!?!

    I don't know why, but part of me is fearful that the Cowboys will crap the bed against the Skins tonight. I hope they come out and score early and often and let me enjoy the game.

    I really hope the Panthers win; if that holds up and Dallas beats the Skins, then the Cowboys lock up a playoff spot and will play Philly for the division next week.

    Yeah. They are looking awfully good. Having them in the mix and playing great will only make the playoffs that much more interesting, from my perspective. If they didn't have Norv Turner as a HC, they'd look like a much more legitimate playoff threat. some would say that Turner's offense is what has put them in this position. Keep in mind that the Chargers have bounced the colts out of the playoffs the last two years as well. A Chargers/Saints Super Bowl would be very interesting. I'm hoping for a Chargers-Cowboys Super Bowl myself.

    I would do that and eat however much of Z's salary they want (within reason) I think if anyone is eating anything, it would be Cabrera.

    How about a deal like this? Zambrano + Castro for Beltran + Reyes. Some additional prospects might need to be added to make it work. The Cubs would get the CF they've been looking for. We take on more money on the front end but shed Zambrano's contract and money sooner. We could move Theriot to 2b and let Reyes take over the lead off spot. We'd have a hole to fill in the rotation, but our line-up would look something like Reyes SS Fukudome RF Lee 1b Ramirez 3b Beltran CF Soriano LF Soto C Theriot 2b

    Come on, Cowboys. Don't crap the bed after the big win. Go to Washington and take care of business and then host the Eagles at home with the division championship on the line.

I did email the DMN to see if I could have a copy since...it's me, [expletive]! The Mrs looks thrilled to be there! She's holding our 6 month old, so she's probably trying to cover his ears because he was sleeping.
