Angel Berroa is having a nice spring for the Yankees. Today, he collected his eighth double. According to rotoworld, the Yankees will pick Ramiro Pena as the utility player and have Cody Ransom fill in for Arod. If that's the case, Berroa would be expendable. Berroa would definitely fill a need for the Cubs. First of all, he's probably a better defensive SS than anyone currently on our roster or in the high minors. Now, granted, he is now on the wrong side of 30, hasn't had a good season in awhile, and even in his good seasons, he has a piss poor OBP. On the other hand, if we're going to have a player who's a little speedy, but otherwise useless, I'd rather have Berroa on the 25-man roster instead of Gathright.
