  1. great work jimbo. now get him signed to a multi-year contract.
  2. If I remember correctly, you can open up one of the virtual windows, and then copy and paste the link from that window into a new tab. The control-N thing doesn't work anymore.
  3. 24 wins from Wood out of the bullpen. That's impressive.
  4. Some of us don't have the ability to grow a good goatee or soul patch.
  5. Anything the Indians have that the Cubs could use? We could definitely give up a bullpen arm.
  6. HAHAHA. Figures. First real day of spring training and we already have our first injury. So it begins.
  7. Yep. Boy, is he gonna get it. Wow. And he absolutely deserves all of it. These are just awful passes.
  8. Dear Bears, Please get a new QB in the offseason. Thank You, Upset Bears fan.
  9. Please be true. One less crappy option for Hendry to go after.
  10. It's a sickness. I'm in full-on craving baseball mode right now. I thought the Bears might keep the baseball cravings down some, but it's not really helping. I know my cravings will return, but they have not. The combination of the Bears in the Super Bowl and the Cubs hitting rock bottom last year has cooled my spring fever a bit. By Feb 6 however, I expect to be in full Cubs anticipation mode. I feel the same way. After the debacle that was the 2006 season, and with the Bears doing so well, I haven't been craving all things Cubs like I have in the past. I'm excited for the season to start, but I haven't been obsessed about what the Cubs are doing like years before.
  11. Coolest PBP guy ever.
  12. He was fired or he stepped down? He's retiring. Just saw it on NFL Network.

  14. I'd be ticked off if I were a Colts fan and payed money to watch this game. They are playing like crap.
  15. Peyton and the Colts choking once again.
  16. Excellent. I guess we'll get to see how the dome team plays in the cold and snow.
  17. I think if he fails in Baseball he can always go back to football and IMO it might not be as easy to do it the other way around. Drew Henson says Hi. And Drew got some money out of it. How many guys go from football to baseball? I agree it's not easy but IMO the switch from baseball pitcher to NFL WR is easier than NFL WR to pitcher. I don't think it's easy either way, especially when you consider the time away from the other sport they are taking. Hard to spend a couple years away from either sport and expect to still be good enough to play in the pros.

  19. Awesome. Good to hear. I guess that pick wasn't wasted like most of us thought it would be. Now let's just hope that he pans out.
  20. Yuck. Those are horrible options. Might as well just keep Jones and leave him in CF. I have to say that I'm surprised that things have slowed down this much since the winter meetings. Most teams have a lot of holes to fill still. I expected to see a lot more activity, with a bunch of trades up to this point. We haven't seen much.
  21. I vote for Joe Buck. It's a travesty that he didn't make the list.

    BCS Bowl Thread

Go ahead with your Big East jabs but this game is hurting the Big 10 just at least as much (if not more) as it's helping the SEC. Like Arkansas and Tennessee helped the SEC v B10 cause. Well let's see, both Arkansas and Tennessee lost very close games that weren't decided until late. Let's run over what the Big 10's top 2 teams have done in the bowls: Michigan laid a complete egg and couldn't even visualize stopping USC's passing game. The front four of Michigan that was supposed to pressure Booty the whole game and not give him time to throw? One sack. OSU's been outgained 220-65. They've looked disorganized on offense and their Heisman Trophy winning QB is looking like he should be playing at a DII school. Meanwhile, it appears their defense is still in Columbus and didn't make the trip to Arizona. And don't forget these were the two teams that a lot of people thought were the best two teams in the nation after the game they played. Michigan played USC, not ND like LSU did. Michigan knocked the crap out of ND just like LSU did. LSU didnt prove anything against the B10 on that one. Michigan was 3-3 at halftime and then remebered they are supposed to suck against USC. Lloyd doesnt understand the concept of coaching whatsoever. Iowa almost freaking beat the 2nd best team in the B12. Okay thats not saying much. fixed.
