    I read somewhere that Dunn came to camp having lost some weight and looking like he's in great shape. That's a scary thought for the rest of the NL Central if it's true.

    I'm not sorry at all either. I've been screwed in the past and had to pay double for Cubs' tickets. This is just a way for me to make my money back.

    I doubt Sammy is going to have a good year. He was terrible for the Orioles, and he took a year off from baseball. It's going to be extremely hard for him to come back and produce after spending a year off from pro ball. Plus, he's not exactly that young anymore.

    I was having that problem too, but I kept trying for the same game and it allowed me to get tickets. It must be some kind of error.

    Am I doing something wrong here? I have about 90 windows open and can't get through. No. It's all just luck. There have been years where I've been really successful and years where I couldn't get anything.

    Got the tickets I wanted for the August 3rd game against the Mets and just got 6 bleacher tickets for the Sunday White Sox game. Yay!!!

    Just a reminder that Cubs' tickets go on sale tommorow at 10 am CT. The VWR starts at 9:30 am. Also, if you haven't already, you better sign up for a cubs.com account because you'll need one to purchase tickets. Mods, can we just make this the ticket success/failures thread like we've had in the past?

    Not at all. They just had to have a deal done to avoid arbitration. This contract could be ripped up if they agree to a long-term deal. I'm sure Hendry and Z's agent will be working on a long-term deal these coming weeks before the season starts.

    Well, sort of. It was pretty much right to the deadline before he would have been allowed to negotiate with other teams. It might not have turned out as well for the Cubs if that were the case.
