Most of the lineup is going to be bad, but 2-3-4-5 is going to be very very good. Very Very Good, Eh? How then does a 2-3-4-5 of Soriano, Lee, Ramirez, Fukudome look to you? The only one of those were the Cardinals are better would be potentially needing surgery. And if "most of the lineup is going to be bad," how then can EXACTLY HALF of the everyday players be described as very very good? The Cubs 2-5 also look very very good, no doubt. Most of the lineup is going to be bad even though half of it is going to be very very good is because contrary to popular belief, in the National League, the pitcher still has to bat. That would make 5 of the 9 hitters in the lineup bad. This is comical in many ways. I guess I should expect this from a team who bats the pitcher 8th. But I especially love the marriage to the second and totally unnecessary "very."
