    *looking for my keys* I just did a search and someone already has one of those Prior figures on ebay. On a similar note, there's a game used Murton bat on ebay with a starting bid over $100. Wow, that bat looks pretty cool. No way I want to pay that much but still cool. link

    It was. They were pretty cool. The were some teenage Cardinal fans next to me though, and they just thought it was hilarious to dismember the action figures, if not worse. Did you pick a fight with them?

He talks about the Greenburg/Murton promotion plus some stuff about chemistry. It is about 500KB.     Len Kasper and Bob Brenley were commenting on the Cubs broadcast today about how Greenburg and Murton said that the West Tenn team has very good chemistry. One funny thing they mentioned was that the team was on the speakerphone with them when they got the call up to the show. Along these lines, does the team do any sort of interesting activities on their off time together and what are some interesting nicknames that the different players have? Thanks for doing this again.

    Considering how much we are paying the guy, is that really an option? I don't see why not. Why should length of contract determine that a guy continually sucks on the big league club? The Yankees were seriously considering sending Giambi down and he's making several times more than Patterson. If someone isn't cutting it and a trip to the minors can straighten them out, it shouldn't matter how much they're making. He only has a 1 year contract for 1.5 mil. It isn't like he is being paid a truckload of money.

    They were at 37 before yesterday. They had three spots open for about a week and a half.

    He also said that Pie needs a lot more time in the minor leagues and that he is still pretty raw. I forgot the exact way he put it but that was the gist.
