  2. All of the boxes have been posted. Rough day for the farm teams.
  3. No earned runs, yet two losses? Ouch, talk about tough luck. That's what happens when you have a rookie ball defense behind you and only pitch 3 innings at the most. He has no chance at getting any wins, not that that matters. Also, an update on his stats: 12 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 0 ER, 6 BB, 19 Ks, 14.25 K/9, 0.92 WHIP, 0 ERA.
  4. There is a link on the first page. :P And yes, it was a solo homer.
  5. Yes, that would be what I was talking about. Thanks for doing the work. :D
  6. Go Corey! solo shot? I have a question, why is nobody allowed to bash the Cubs at all but you take every opportunity to bash Corey? The double standard is getting very tiring. How am I bashing, Corey? He has a trend of hitting solo Hr's this year. He is in the development stage of his career so he can get back to the bigs & I'm just curious if those trends are beginning to change. I'm rooting for Corey! First of all, it isn't Corey's fault if nobody got on in front of him. Secondly, that statement isn't just referring to this comment. It is referring to all of the times that you have bashed him in the last several months. I would look for them and give you links but I don't feel like wasting the time and I think you know what I am talking about.

  8. Well, he talked about it all spring training but then didn't show much of it for the first couple of months of the season. Nice to see him pick it back up again.
  9. The Mesa box has been posted. Mark Pawelek did pitch today and posted another great line.
  10. Because that way Dunn can walk all he wants and can be knocked in by all of Lee's and ARam's homers.
  11. You mean the Sosa that pretty much singlehandedly carried us to the playoffs in 98? Note: when arguing against getting a guy, it probably isn't a good idea to compare him to players that are, more than likely, going into the hall of fame.
  12. I don't mean this to be condescending, but many of these topics have been debated at length, particularly in the Adam Dunn thread in Rivalries. Perhaps reading them might help you out with the opposing opinion. I don't care one bit whether Dunn hits another sacrifice fly for the rest of his playing career. You can't be serious. Do you even notice that the Nationals are in first place by doing the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you just said? I guess a K is better than a sac fly, or moving runners over. It is better than a double play. Also, let's see how long the Nationals stay in first place in that division. I think they are in 3rd or 4th by mid August.
  13. Dunn is a really good number 3 hitter. He gets on base a ton and also slugs a bunch. I would gladly take him over Pods/Pierre in a second.
  14. Mark Pawelek will also probably pitch for Arizona but Raisin didn't want to take the risk of being wrong. :P
  15. No, please don't make the same mistake again.

  17. All boxes are posted. I won't finish that audio tonight so don't get your hopes up. I did knock off about three quarters of it tonight, though.
  18. The Mesa box has been posted. I would also like to say that I am going to be working on the Potesta Q & A and it should, hopefully, be done at some point tonight.
  19. That might have made some sense if Clemens didn't start last year with Piazza catching. Why does that second comment make any difference? Ummm, didn't the Clemens-Piazza battery give up 6 runs in the first inning last year? Was that because of the "feud" or because Clemens did a bad job of pitching?
  20. The Cards do have two fairly high ceiling starting pitchers in AAA right now in Wainwright and Reyes.
  21. The key is the first two series. If we cant's go 6-2 then I doubt we make any big moves (unless there is future value). I'm almost afraid we'd have to do even better than that considering the historic difficulty the Cubs have had going to St. Louis. I don't see us sweeping either of those teams, to be honest.
  22. This is correct.
  23. Every time one of these threads is created, the team is horrible. I am going to go with 8-10
