Don't think DeWitt has a little more projectability? I don't see much in his history to suggest it. He only turns 25 in a couple weeks, but at the same time he never was real young for his MiLB levels, and the only time he hit enough to suggest more projection was in Vegas(1.273 OPS home, .697 away). To be a bit more hopeful, he isn't a bad player, and at his age maybe a different organization can help him break out as he enters his prime. I just think that probability is a lot lower than I would've liked for what we gave up. To me, the deal centers on Wallach. If he can breakout in a similar fashion to Archer, and if DeWitt doesn't fall off the face of the earth, then it's a pretty decent deal. Didn't know about the home/road splits. His overall numbers in that age 22 season look nifty.
