    I just got an email that said my account will be auto renewed. Last year, they had a deal that if you sign up for a free trial for S.I. you got gameday for free. I don't see the link this year as of yet but IIRC the link came as the season began last year.

    The pioneer Airwave version of portable XM is great too. XM411.com is a good resource for new XM subscribers.

    go to slickdeals.net and search for XM. They have codes that provide free activation and cheaper subscription fees. THey also have ways of getting the reciver for free if you sign up for 3 months at a time. I did this at Chrstmas and I got a free Roady XT and prepaid 3 months, then I have to pay for another 3 months. Basically you sign a 6 month contract and get the radio for free.

    I'd do a keeper league. I thought the Yahoo League from last year here was a keeper one but it kind of fizzled out. I am up for another.

    You know where a good fit for Williamson is and has been a rumored partner for the Cubs? Tampa Bay. A Williamson, Cedeno & Prospect for Lugo is a possibility. Even Huff is still available.

    The strikeouts and being in the top of the rotation make Eaton the definite choice since Rusch isn't a guaranteed starter.

    I picked Tex up at 6th. He is a strong fantasy player. I am against picking a SP in the first 3 rounds due to their lack of everyday contribution.

    why can't the Cubs sign Sosa to a 1 day contract and have him retire in celebatory mode in the uniform that made him great?that would be a very classy move IMO

    Anyone catch the interview? I beleive it was on Rob Dibble and Kevin Kennedy's show. The only thing I heard about it was Roy Firestone calling in after and saying how Stone should be a GM and Dibble agreeing with him

    I haven't followed the minors very closely over the past few months. Did this surprise anyone else? Not really, IIRC he was released and resigned last year too. Also didn't he test positive last season?

    The story about the coaches was cleared up yesterday. Both coaches were told to meet at the 25 yrd line but they each went to the other one. Later, Cowher went to the Seahawks locker room and spoke with Holmgren. Apparently they have some sort of friendship and actually spoke a couple of times before the game. As an added note, for everyone tired of hearing the Seattle fans comlplaining about the refs, I want to say that that at least the players have been classy about it. Holmgren is the only one so far that has said anything and that was to rile up the crowd. I think I have heard more people complaining about the Seattle fans complaining, then actual fans's complaints. All the fans I have spoke with say the same thing. The refs didn't do us any favors and did some for the Steelers, but the Seahawks had thier chances to still win and they didn't. Go Seahawks next year!
