    Just joined the broadcast and I read the comments on the announcers. Its Ted Lightner (sp?) and Tim Flannery. Ted also has an afternoon talk show. His voice is a perfect reflection of what kind of guy he is. Very pompous and full of himself. Cocky and selfish were words created just to describe this guy. One of the lasting images I have of him is during Jerry Coleman's (his radio partner) HOF induction speech, Jerry thanked him and he stood up, waved around and didn't sitdown right away so Jerry had to wait to continue. His talk show is even worse. Its all SD politics and mostly wrong at that. The guy is incredibly bad. But at least SD TV has Matt Vasgursian. Remember he was the guy that was set to replace Chip before Len. Matt is a great guy and occansionally (meaning like 5 times a year it seems) fills in on talk show radio and is hilarious. Its too bad we can't get more Matt

    Not only did Welly have a tough time but apparently so did Aardsma. Although he got out of it, not a comfortable looking line.

    It seems strange to have Hernandez @ 1st and Martinez catching. Martinez will be playing some at first this season and I don't think Hernandez is too viable @ 1st.

    Ryu's curve/splitter was more impressive the Hill's yesterday in my opinion. But in reality, there was little to complain about from the game, except for maybe Novoa's performance.

    So i am catching up with yesterday's game thread and Len came in. Thats just AWESOME. I gotta tell you that I saved the game on my Tivo just for the shirtless funny's. Can't wait for the Len & Bob CD/DVD.

    I wholeheartely agree. In fact I think that it is better then the Zoo. Then again, I got married at the Wild ANimal Park so I might be somewhat biased. Regardless both are fun and at the WA Park you can go on a "photo Safari" where they take you in a jeep through the park. We did that on our 1 year anniversary and not only did we feed Giraffes but we got to feed Rhinos! One of the best times ever in a Zoo!

    I think Pierre is safe, but Pie could make the Cubs think hard before signing Juan to an extension. Yes, no matter how well Pie does he needs to spend this year in AAA (with Von Joshua). But yes hopefully this will prove to Jim that we don't need to extend Pierre. After what we gave up to get him? Pierre's getting an extension. I think you are overrating to value that we sent to Florida
