  1. Tim will be thrilled, especially after buying his jersey last week! THAT would be a great jersey to have!
  2. I have Adrian gonzalez available. Also when Helton comes back I would be interested in dealing Sexon
  3. errrr... so much wrong with that I don't know where to begin What? Should I have thrown in Dunston, Mitch Webster and Hector Villanuava for good measure? Its one thing to misspell Sandberg's name but another to bash Hector! ::ncool: I appologize on both counts. I'll pull back Hector and use Mel Rojas instead. :D

  5. Not a bad AB there from Jones. That was 2 good AB's in the inning by struggling hitters.

  7. Dusty in the AL? That would be strange. Think of this, Dusty has wanted to get the "I don't play young kids" label off of him for a while. He always seems to bristle when he is asked about it. But what would happen of the Cubs make the playoffs playing 2 rookies (basically) and having multiple young arms contribute. Will that change Dusty or will it be a fluke like '89? I am seeing more and more similarities to '89 everyday.
  8. You mean, other than the facts the Marlins would never consider the deal? its nice to dream a little right? Besides I just woke up and had to pinch myself that this thread was real! :D
  9. Thanks all, the url idea is a good thought.
  10. tampa bay? Is good. Not as good as Carolina. The AFC South is pretty competitive. I wouldn't count your chickens before they're hatched. Tampa Bay had the number one D in the NFL last year, Atlanta has a history of success against the Panthers, and the Saints added a TON of talent with Breese and Bush. The Panthers are the best team, but it's going to be a dog fight to come out of that division. Ummm....The defending NFC Champion, NFL MVP and the team that absolutely DOMINATED Carolina in the championship game might have something to say as to why no one mentioned them in this conversation. I mean really, the SAINTS? I can't wait for the Seahawks to go 13-3 again and watch all the critics look at each other and say Who is this team again? Hassellback (Best NFC WB rating last 2 years), Alexander (NFL MVP and TD record holder), Julien Peterson & Lofa Tatapu patroling the middle of the field, Grant Wistrom coming around the end and D Jack and Burleson going deep. BTW, they also drafted the best punter available. He is a guy that kicks 80 yard kickoffs  I think this might be a team to consider.
  11. I would believe that this would also mean that Rusch is available tonight out of the pen if needed. Are we the only team in MLB that has 3 lefty relievers? Why not deal Rusch to the Marlins, pick up his salary and get back Nolasco
  12. Is there a way to got to a specific page in a thread? Often I find myself leaving for a couple of hours and the game thread is several pages past where I left off. Maybe we could get an option to click to a certain page number
  13. Tapp & Jennings for the Seahawks? GREAT draft! And not having a 3rd rounder didn't reall ymake any differences. I expect an O linemen project in the 4th and we will head back to the super bowl
  14. If justice could play left guard he would have been a Seahawk. But we needed a cover corner with the Rams and the Cards in our division and with Hamlin not sure of coming back and Dyson & Manuel leaving we needed it. Obviiously we did in the Super Bowl
  15. Jennings was the safe pick and the player that they were targeting. He will start right away and be good and effective. Berman is a tool
  16. Well the guy they were drafting all along not matter who fell
  17. Jackson would be a good pick too for the vertical passing game. This Sox though, of course now that the Seahawks are on the clock they talk to White. Grrr
  18. No Jennings? Jennings? I did forget Jonathan Joseph though, who I really like. thats who I meant
  19. If the Seahawks choose Justice here it would be FABULOUS!
  20. I like the SW commercial about California. Its happy
