Arozarena’s career game and a 3 run home run from another 150 batter. I think they’re due for a normal win today.

It’s hard to outplay a team 3 days in a row and especially on the road, unfortunately that means that Seattle will sweep.

It’s unfair that Happ is criticized for sucking in high pressure moments. He sucks in low pressure moments just as badly.

My issue is with the batted balls. I think his hero ball tendencies have as much to do with his ability to extend plays as as it does trying to create a throwing lane with an obstructed view from the pocket at 6’1. He seems to sail passes to avoid having his passes tipped at the LOS more than simply bad accuracy. Am I reaching?

This conversation isn’t happening if scrub Leo Rivas makes the third out for the second game in a row which is the most aggravating part of this. Being single handedly beat by a 3 run homer and Arozarena having the game of his life bugs the horsefeathers out of me, in addition to Rivas having his Victor Diaz/Craig Brazil moments.

I’m a big believer in pitcher win-loss record as a predictor of future success and Peterson is 7-2 In games that he’s pitched for the cubs with tonight’s game still pending.

I’m guessing that being the worst god damn team in baseball against changeups is the trade off for hitting lots of pull side fly balls.

Big series coming up against Arizona. The third wild card could be a stake.

That and 4 combined RBIs by Mairiners hitters with 156 and 130 batting averages entering the game. Scoring 5 runs hasn’t been enough way too often this year and it should’ve been against a bad offense in a hitters graveyard like Seattle.

For all the gripes about war overrating defense, we’ll learn just how false that is while missing Swanson behind a pitching staff that can’t miss bats.
