  1. Disgraceful. History in the making. Can we have the lowest winning percentage in games our staff allows more than 3 runs?
  2. For reference that’s a factor of 11X below the MLB average.
  3. Can we make it 11-10 since may in games our pitchers allowed 3 runs or less? Coming in to today the cumulative record for all 30 teams was 450-62.
  4. If we DHd for our catchers and put our pitchers in the 9 hole would anyone notice?
  5. Cubs are only 11-9 since may in games the rotation allowed 3 runs or less. The cumulative record for all 30 team’s allowed 3 or fewer runs are 450-62. If they could score at a league average pace in these games they’d be 41-30.
  6. Hopefully they can increase their average with RISP above the Amaya line today..
  7. $120 million for a projected 8.3 WAR. For 1/3rd of that Judge who’s on pace for a 12. Brilliant spending by Theo Epsteins freind.
  8. Starting pitching wins championships. Unless of course you’re the Cubs where you lose 2/3 games with great performance after great performance.
  9. The cubs biggest issue is that they’re way too consistent
  10. I love the the consistency of our boys. Do the Cards take a 3-0 lead scoring their go ahead runs in the 8th or 9th?
  11. I thought Jerry only owned one Bulls and Whitesox too.
  12. If Jed Hoyer was an NFL GM he’d outbid the Falcons to sign Kirk Cousins offering 4 years $200 million. he loves creating a core of bottom of the order bats on MLB heavyweights.
  13. When your roster is a coin flip fringe playoff contender predicated on complimentary pieces who’d be bottom of the order hitters on league heavy weights, strategically you look to sell these expendable pieces to acquire farm talent at the deadline and not rely on a bunch of Kirk Cousins as your core. who on this team couldn’t be replaced in the offseason by players of similar value? jed is sacrificing the future to skate around 500 <5> games. Directionless garbage.
  14. Hendricks is the only player on the current roster you could justify dropping $ on. He started and likely will end his career with the Cubs and was a blue chip rotation piece that’ll never go out of style. what a great proxy for the current state of our rosters lack of star power and talent
  15. I don’t wear jerseys. For those who do I’m genuinely curious if there’s a single player worth the investment.
  16. A 1-2-3 9th. Wow. And it’s a game they won. Miracles do happen, look at the Sox the last couple days.
  17. Heart attack Hector time. Jed’s only off season pen acquisition.
  18. Anyone know which current player is our top selling jersey? For the jersey wearers have or will any of you drop $100+ on anyone on this roster?
  19. The offense is incapable of scoring insurance runs.
  20. He’ll be nearby in a Dodger uniform in the next half decade thankfully. Skeenes too. Hopefully by then we’ll be winning instead of talking about “the plan”.
  21. If the asking price is cash considerations or a career AAAA player there’s nothing to lose. That’s all I’d be willing to give up for a team that’s many pieces away and playing at .37 win clip since may.
