    In august if 89 I attended my first game ar wrigley. After the game, my folks took me to the players parking lot for autographs. I got a couple, but girardi was the only one that paid us any attention. He spent a good 10 minutes shooting the [expletive] with me (12 years old) and my folks. That's worth 25 wars.

    A kid can play as much baseball as he wants. Tons of opportunities almost year round. My boy plays city rec league in spring and plays competitive tournaments in spring and summer. Then a light schedule in fall. Better than video games or being a couch potato.

    Sori was on my poop lost I til my son took a liking to him. I've been a big fan ever since. Kinda sad that my kids favorite player is leaving, but it happens. I'll always be a soriano fan. I'm guessing he hangs it up after next year.
