Considering they had a lot of material to cover in an hour show, they did okay. It would be interesting to have a 3 part series -- Early Years (St Louis / Oakland), White Sox, and Cubs. It's a testament to the man's showmanship that he was only with the cubs for 16 seasons and made such a lasting impact. I remember when I went to Wrigley in 89 (as a 12 year old) I was down near the field trying to get autographs. The crowd was thick as the cubs were taking on the expos (both teams tied for 1st place) in August '89. Lots of great players were out signing. A guy comes walking down from the concourse. Someone yelled, "Hey, there's Harry!" and just like that there was no more lines for player autographs. Everyone flocked to Harry. He shook hands, posed for pics, signed autographs, and kissed baby's . The only figure I've seen that had that kind of draw was Bill Clinton.
