Swanson cost the Cubs IMO. In the same inning, a guy on 3rd and 1 out and he can't put the ball in play to get that run home. And then that liner that he didn't catch. There is plenty of blame to go around but Swanson is the highest paid player on this team, I believe a team captain as well -

I'm more annoyed at Dansby not getting that run home in the top of the 8th than the dropped liner, that additional run would be huge right about now
