  1. Given his age and production I wouldn’t trade pca for anybody, even ohtani
  2. I wonder if the Royals would give up Cole Ragans. As great as he is, that team will never be great until they surround Bobby Witt Jr with some more capable hitters. He would be a great great fit but it'll probably take 4 good prospects to get it done He's injured though and probably coming back late July at earliest. But 3 consecutive years potentially with a FIP under 3. That would be real nice
  3. Cabrera sure plays a lot for a guy who's been here for a few weeks. TF is so good about this guy?
  4. That's one of the biggest hits of the year from Shaw so far
  5. The first sport that gets competent officiating will become GOATed
  6. Excited for this game. This is a good Brewers team and a great test for this ball club.
  7. I would make a very competitive offer for Garrett Whitlock. I know the Cubs have a great bullpen but this would give them another big time weapon back there. He also won't cost much from a prospect standpoint and only has a $4.5 million salary. Jokes on the Dodgers - they paid $18 million for Scott and the Cubs could get someone better for a fraction of that price. Also controllable through '26 and if he plays well, club options in '27 and '28. Imagine: Pomeranz/Whitlock/Keller/Palencia with Hodge, Pressly, Flexen on standby. That's a dominant bullpen For a major need like starting pitching and maybe a right handed bat, I'd go elsewhere. Gallen would be at the top of my list but that would cost a bit.
  8. Assad, although granted he did miss some time last year too from injury
  9. It is kind of crazy to think that the Cubs are without 3 of their starting pitchers from last year and still having this much success. If they were healthy, this would be the best team in the league, record wise, by at least a few games
