    3 Top 5 teams lost today. I think its going to end up being a wild year. Of course USC losing hurts them. But I think ND still has a good shot at the playoffs

    For 3 quarters it really felt like every other time PSU have played a good OSU or Michigan team recently. They still lost of course but the game had a different feel about it at the end.

    How does Penn St not have any downfield weapons? Their offense is almost as bad as Michigan's last year As soon asI post this they go on a 5 play TD drive:)

    Yeah, they got a big early lead and got Illinois out of what they are good at. I think if they played again it would be a very competitive game. Illinois is a good team, not great but they will be just fine.

    Indiana got Illinois away from their power running attack. Made Illinois PP trash. Once a game becomes a blowout, score doesnt matter. Illinois was able to keep running ball, kept SCs dline honest. I also think USC was somewhat overrated

    Im very excited for it. No way I will touch it with my money, but very excited about the game itself. How often did Oregon have to see anything like the Whiteout in the Pac 12?

    Fernando Tatis going 11 for 15 with 4 HRs and Padres bullpen being elite as we lose 2 out of 3 with scores like 5-4

    I think a team like Illinois needs to at least control the pace of play. Even when they struggled running the ball in the 1st 3 games, they stuck with it and it played dividends in the 2nd half. The poor performance from their defense got the offense out of their strength. Then it snowballed on them. I know the defense had some injuries and lost a key player to a borderline targeting call, but Indiana so quickly getting the ball to a wide open receivers was should scare Illinois fans

    I used to think their SEC game every week was well done. They just had some really great camera angels today. Play by play was very solid also. Now that Gus Johnson has lost several steps, the CBS game might be the best

    I know Dabo is reluctant on using the portal, but what are Clemsons NIL capabilities? Watching some of the Michigan/Nebraska game. For some reason I thought the camera work, cinematography was great.

    I hate losing,I hate losing more than I like winning, and there is a difference-Billy Beane(Brad Pitt) Moneyball. I know I am a grumpy old man, but this quote has always resonated with me. That being sad, the other thing about being a grumpy old man is I have lived thru a lot more non playoff Cubs team than playoff teams. I am excited that the Cubs will probably be playing 3 home playoff games.
