  1. No. But his name has made him more highly rated than he should be. I think if he sticks around another year, he will improve quite a bit. I also think Texas high preseason ranking had a lot to do with his name.
  2. He might be gone tomorrow UCLA got smoked by New Mexico who lost to San Jose St last night
  3. Unexpectedly watching a lot of CFB today. Wish there were better games on
  4. I am not going to see what was talked about during game thread....but if Schildt was willing to use Morejon, how co.e he didn't start the inning with him
  5. I kind of get that. Im not saying I was indifferent about it, but I would say I would have not thought the season a success if they lost. Now I think the Cubs are playing with house money
  6. I would have him lay one down in his first AB as long as its situation appropriate
  7. I would have him lay one down in his first AB as long as its situation appropriate
  8. Good news, what the Padres did today is not sustainable. Bad news, they just need to do it one more game against the Cubs.
  9. Why do you assume what Happ thinks or feels? Did he ignore a bunt sign?
  10. I really like Seiya in RF. I think the sample is big enough now to say there is something to playing the field that carries over to his hitting
  11. Padres bullpen was lights out. Steve effing Garvey and Leon Fricking Durham
  12. I have had a kind of loathing of the Padres since 1984.....get it done Cubs!!!
  13. One of these days someone is going to realize the Dodgers sustained success has just as much to do withtheir productive player development system as it does their extremely high payroll
  14. I dont think the Cubs would have won 8 more games if they had prime Pedro. Their starting pitching was not that poor
  15. 3 Top 5 teams lost today. I think its going to end up being a wild year. Of course USC losing hurts them. But I think ND still has a good shot at the playoffs
  16. For 3 quarters it really felt like every other time PSU have played a good OSU or Michigan team recently. They still lost of course but the game had a different feel about it at the end.
  17. How does Penn St not have any downfield weapons? Their offense is almost as bad as Michigan's last year As soon asI post this they go on a 5 play TD drive:)
  18. Yeah, they got a big early lead and got Illinois out of what they are good at. I think if they played again it would be a very competitive game. Illinois is a good team, not great but they will be just fine.
  19. Indiana got Illinois away from their power running attack. Made Illinois PP trash. Once a game becomes a blowout, score doesnt matter. Illinois was able to keep running ball, kept SCs dline honest. I also think USC was somewhat overrated
  20. Im very excited for it. No way I will touch it with my money, but very excited about the game itself. How often did Oregon have to see anything like the Whiteout in the Pac 12?
  21. Well they're wearing garters, and breathing out their eyelids like the mayans?
  22. Fernando Tatis going 11 for 15 with 4 HRs and Padres bullpen being elite as we lose 2 out of 3 with scores like 5-4
  23. Im going the other way....If I could bet on Illinois games in Illinois
  24. I know the Cowboys D sucks....but that was a big boy drive. FOOTBALL
