  1. the batman movies are make believe So? It's a stupid shirt. And wearing an anus-face doesn't make up for your Raging Anus lies. Sure it does. Now stop pretending things are real, peter pan.

  3. i was happier when i thought it was just for the bears
  4. need need need
  5. hitting the ball would be nice. it seems like we never do that anymore. aren't you supposed to hit the ball? you are, right?
  6. Spence, Brown, and Hawthorne? I've been hoping they won't lose Brown, but man is that kid talented I was thinking Buchanan, Hawthorne, and Brown, but Pocic is there too and could get into the first with a good year.
  7. illinois is going to put another 3 players into the first round this year. i hope beckman can do more with them than zook did.
  8. Dilfer sucks but complaining about him not being 100% positive is ridiculous. When Cutler has a 3 TD 0 INT game for 300 yards or even a game lesser then that but still effective, Dilfer at least in the past would find a way to nitpick him. (cue the part where Jay throws a near INT on a tipped ball "THESE ARE THE THROWS THAT GET HIM IN TROUBLE AND HURT HIS TEAM.") I dont think Jay until recently has had a fair shake in the media after his trade demand and first year with the Bears. The guy has done great with [expletive] parts around him. This is the first year that hes had big boy receivers to work with. that's all well and good, and I agree with a good part of it. But complaining about an analyst not being 100% positive about a player is ridiculous. i love jay as much as the next guy, but his level of play has been up for debate with the kind of talent that he possesses. his first year with the bears was terrible, his second year was pretty good and his third year was about the same as the second. i think he's going to break out this year and become a perrenial pro-bowler, but he's not above cristicism at all.
  9. If Matt did not recant his lies and deception he would have been treated like the Hoosier version of Steve Bartman in this state. Does that make Luke Recker Steve Garvey? Did Luke get as much action as Garvey? I'm not sure how to judge this one... i know he impregnated someone in high school and then left his girlfriend because she was paralyzed from a car crash he caused.

  11. they're going to look bad over stretches of drives this season. cutler is my favorite football player of all time, but he goes through streaks of inaccuracy, then releases ragnarok.
  12. i'm doubting wilson hangs onto the starting job into week 13, but flynn is rather new, too.
  13. he's at it again. this time i have to think that his job is in danger. http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story/_/id/8303626/chicago-white-sox-broadcaster-ken-hawk-harrelson-was-critical-home-plate-umpire-lance-barrett
  14. doesn't he play for the sixers?
  15. i have never heard of those
  16. I can't tell if this is serious or not. right, paea didn't play and neither did urlacher. that said, the defense did what it always does, bend not break. the first touchdown they scored on us should have been nullified as they fumbled the ball (something the defense is designed to force) a couple of plays earlier and the play was ruled dead because the refs are dumb--and cruz had a drop on third down that was ruled a catch and would have been overturned on replay. the second touchdown was a special teams breakdown and not an indictment of the defense. that said, the giants are a tough team with a pretty good passing attack and a beastly pass rush that won the super bowl last year. jay needs to tighten it up before the season opener for sure though.
  17. the thing about the offense with cutler is that it's always been so hard to predict, dangerous because it has potential but it still shoots itself in the foot a lot of the time. it's like a wounded animal, it will flop all over the place and then when you move in for the kill, it will bite you in the nuts and you will fall over and die. there will be like 2 false starts and then forte will run into chris williams and fall down for a 5 yard loss, cutler will badly over throw a receiver on the next play, then he would hit knox for a 30 yard gain for a first down, rinse, wash repeat. does anybody else see the same thing? it's odd.
  18. my concern was how off cutler was except for the touchdown drive.
  19. also, paea didn't play tonight, he is a guy that eats double teams for the pass rush.
  20. david carr was the first pick in an nfl draft, folks.
  21. Too late for that. Aside from the 2nd round pick and despite how early it still is, all indications are that this was an Angeloish type draft from Emery. We should have either done more free agent damage or drafted anyone but Shea at that slot. All he preached was how he wanted to draft immediate impact players and his picks were the opposite of immediate impact. Even a rookie WR needs more time then other positions to develop. i'm ok with the draft. i like jeffery and rodriguez a lot, i think hardin is a specimen. i'm not sold on mcclellin yet. I love Jeffrey don't get me wrong. But rodriguez is a smallish TE (project), Hardin never played Safety in his life (project) and Shea is undersized, lacking strength and experience at DE (project). i wouldn't call rodriguez a project just because he's not the starter, they will utilize him at a couple of positions this year to help immediately. hardin doesn't need to be an impact player because we have conte and wright as the starters. shea is a dude that they've been rotating on on third down to rush the passer and have an impact there. make no mistake, any pass rusher they drafted would have been utilized the same way. there is a learning curve for every single rookie in the NFL, but just because that exists doesn't mean that every rookie is a project. the season hasn't started yet, easy there.
  22. Nah. The time to try that wouldve been weeks ago. They didnt allow a sack. This was probably the best pass rush we'll see all year. Webb and Spencer will get by. Yeah, because Cutler is far too used to running away from DEs that run past the line unblocked. it's also kind of ridiculous to assume that the bears won't make changes at this point in the season.
