  1. But then why aren't all world class sprinters 6-5 then? You would think they'd have the market cornered. I'm not a sprinting expert, but I imagine it's because it's pretty difficult to be that tall and still have the explosiveness to stick with the shorties until the advantage in stride kicks in. Bolt certainly isn't blowing people away in the first 50 meters of his races. i thought you said his height was an advantage, but now you're saying it's a disadvantage. anyhow, if we're all in agreement as to where he gets his explosiveness from, the argument still stands, why isn't the sport inundated with giants? I'm saying that Bolt is unique, which answers both your concerns. He's the rare tall guy(although the 100 is littered with 6-2 and 6-3 winners) with the explosiveness to stay with the pack out of the blocks and then use his stride to pull away. he has explosion because he's working with a really really good chemist. pretty good article. http://www.muscleweek.com/is-usain-bolt-on-steroids i can understand people wanting to see other people run fast but this whole "he's just the best at doing drugs" and being strangely proud of that opinion is [expletive] unbearable. he was a tall, average sprinter that started doing PEDs and changed the game. he's a cheater, and it's his type that causes us to not be able to have nice things. as weird as he is, i don't think carl lewis ever did PEDs. he may be the last great clean champion.
  2. i don't try to be the best at exercising.
  3. and i think the US is operating at a disadvantage when it comes to sprinting. with the gatlin, montgomery, and marion jones disgraces still looming over their heads, i think they are more reticent to engage in the brazen cheating that the third-world jamaicans seem to be engaging in.

  6. we should probably burn his body beyond recognition first
  7. you may use my penis to baby-seal him
  8. you know what has to be done
  9. I'm not even that outraged by PED's, I just found it funny that someone would find it disgusting and reprehensible to suggest that a record breaking Olympic sprinter would be suspected of juicing it up. Show me this person, so I may mock them as well. I swing a big ass battleaxe. i love him but it was beerbitch
  10. that's something i can be okay with.
  11. So is his chemist 1) Who the F says "chemist?" Are you a Brit? 2) I hate this attitude. Wouldn't you rather be proven wrong about actual PED use than right? This is relentlessly negative and frankly, disrespectful. come on, this is sprinting we're talking about. usain bolt just ran much much faster than any human has ever run, in a sport as spotless as sprinting? i would say it's not ridiculous to be skeptical at all. i can't wait until lance armstrong and usain bolt go down in flames. they are dicks of the highest order, and, imo, cheaters. they may be their sports most disrespectful asses, come to think of it.
  12. If the Zapatistas were the ruling party, Mexican soccer would be rivaled by few.
  13. The whole [expletive] jamaican olympic team is annoying as hell. Alyson Felix makes me feel funny.
  14. I hate white people. I mean I really really hate them.
  15. yeah, they are panicking. they stubbornly ignored LT this offseason and now they're scared.
  16. I missed that one from him. Thank God. sorry, it was actually godzillavskingkong
  17. i remember arguing wilken's future role to that weirdo godzilla vs. batman or whatever when theo was hired. lol
  18. but b2b was telling me that wilken would stick around as scouting director and that the hiring of theo and jed would mean nothing.
  19. It's one thing for them to get destroyed on the field, but I mean 3 errors in one inning, other errors, and mental breakdowns. Fundamentally I would like to see an example of a worse game played. I'm fairly confident the Cubs have had worse games than 5 errors and a single bad send by the 1B coach. i was alive for the 80's and 90's, and yes, you are correct. the mitch webster years were the best.
  20. this ump isn't giving him anything and this dusty team is begging for walks. holy [expletive] i've turned the game on and they haven't gotten a [expletive] out.
  21. Beloved futility. [expletive] them i says
  22. bill bradley and phil jackson are national treasures. but seriously, new york teams are only offensive to ma and pa hoosier or the dust bowlers in okc.
  23. and the 69 mets. man, [expletive] these new york teams in 69.
