  1. that demarius thomas guy is big and fast
  2. Luck probably looked exactly like Favre did his first game except Luck wasn't drunk. Luck will be just fine. he looked like a david carr on his wedding night.
  3. Favre didn't have the highest football IQ at times because he took too many unnecessary chances. But his IQ seems to be higher than Jays who likes throwing the ball to the other team too much. I hope this stat improves and I would imagine it would. Cutler was great today. HE STOMPED ON YOUR NUT-SACK TODAY, SAY IT
  4. luck looked like an INT-throwing, flailing, chucking insect in the sight of cutler today. you can hold out hope that he fulfills your wildest dreams, but jay impregnated luck's mother and he's going to have a baby-brother that becomes a better qb than he is.
  5. so favre didn't overcome his bad qb iq because he didn't have one? it gets better. listen, needlehead, it's really nice seeing you again, but go ahead and take your cutler hate and bottle it up, keep it deep down and then let it explode on a day when cutler hasn't just stomped the [expletive] out of your nut-sack.
  6. so some quarterbacks that have low football iqs are good and some aren't? wonderfully insightful stuff. Gunslingers who score TDs to overcome their INTs also overcome their bad QB IQs. but you said the whole problem was bad qb iq. you are twisted up ass-deep [expletive] in your own creepy logic again.

  8. rodgers got a nice arm, but it's no ragnarok like that one
  9. that rivals his 60-yard bomb to javon walker.
  10. i assure you
  11. i wouldn't have said it
  12. great joke
  13. Cutler obviously, though Luck had a 70% completion % his last two years at Stanford. One game though. I'm fairly certain by the end of next year Luck will have the higher football IQ. He won't be the better QB by then, but I think his career ceiling is higher than Cutler's. The one thing holding Jay back is that he tries to force passes. And I don't see that improving any time soon. having confidence in yourself and your receivers doesn't mean you have a low "football iq". tons of successful quarterbacks have been gunslingers, including the qb who holds most of every record. i don't get your point.
  14. who was more accurate today?
  15. let's talk about how bad cutler was today you silly little fruit
  16. and now mr poopy pants rears his ugly head
  17. You could have said those very same things about Peyton Manning, Brees, and maybe even Brady the last 10 years. Some people are just smarter than the rest and have a better football IQ. I think Luck is going to have a higher football IQ compared to Jay before long. Maybe Jay just needed a great receiver to make his football IQ look better than it is. We'll see. re: arguments being dumb as dog [expletive] How good is Manning's athleticism? He has average arm strength. A veritable statue. Notice you didn't say anything about accuracy. That is what those three guys have and that is one of Jay's weaknesses. i don't know where those guys come in and i don't know how one can assert, from watching today's game, that luck is accurate. i do know that jay has won his last 6 starts in fairly impressive fashion and most likely would have had a chance at the super bowl had he not been injured last year.
  18. and your argument is worthy of poop comments
  19. haha nice edit spaz. anyways, like i said, luck hung with cutler for the first 8 passes, and then there was no comparison. The comparison was made at 25 and 27 passes. They had almost the same attempts, yards, completions, and rating. Cutler had the one terrible, stupid, his fault interception, and Luck had some bad luck or incredibly skilled interception against him. When whoever said it, it was a reasonable comment. Luck did really well for his first game. and yes, I hadn't previously read your intent to drag this into poop comments. how did those first 8 passes work, though? luck played inefficiently and got worse as the game went on. cutler got better.

  23. If Jennings had been the guy catching that Cutler pass in the first quarter, it would have been an interception. Lucky it was a guy who can't catch, huh? The fact is, Luck had managed to do a pretty good job for a rookie of picking apart the Bears pass defense and they would have had more scores if not for the turnovers. Whether or not the Bears have a defense superior at getting that kind of turnover is irrelevant when you're comparing QB play. You'd ideally like to compare it with identical, neutral defenses. Not at the time period mentioned. They were basically the same in attempts, completions, I think Jay had a few more yards, one INT to two. jay is and was pretty much better at every phase of the game today, i don't know how you can think it was even close. luck was terribly inefficient, his passer rating reflected it and it was borne out over the course of a full game. he looked like a rookie that threw a million passes and made a lot of incompletions. jay is faster, more athletic, less statuesque in the pocket, his arm is way way stronger. there's no comparison and there may never be. One might almost think you weren't responding to a comment made about the performances well before the game ended. But you were. And if you're wondering, Cutler's passer rating went from about 85 to 99 after that point of the game. Luck's went from about 84 to 53 so your argument is that for a portion of the game luck was comparable to cutler? ok, i agree, luck's first 8 passes were comparable to cutler's first 8.
