  1. last game was the same thing
  2. bruce needs to get kicked out of the game right there. the guy obviously kicks it. please let the next guy we hire be like bo pelini, a dude who will not let the refs get comfortable for one second, a guy who will constantly scream at them when any call goes against us and who is not afraid to criticize the hell out of them in the post-game pc.
  3. we haven't gotten one single tip fall all year, either.
  4. the illini get so many unlucky bounces it's fucked up
  5. sam is positively tebow-like out there. all elbows and knees out, scurrying painfully down the court like a rat with broken legs.
  6. these gopher pukes are dirty
  7. there's their first points with sam on the floor
  8. they're actually not settling for jumpshots and, well, they're scoring.
  9. fair enough, but i can't help but notice he's had some big years out of his quarterbacks.
  10. i just noticed no wikipedia page, lol. i was trying to find out when he went to atlanta. if you assume he did so before the 2004 draft. 2004- deangelo williams, michael jenkins, matt schaub, demorrio williams are still playing football in the NFL. 2005- roddy white, jonathan babineaux, chauncey davis, michael boley (of recent note) and frank the tank are still in the league. i have to go, but will take up this list later.
  11. good hire, wish the bears had him. Trust me, you don't. hmm, well, maybe not. what was the big deal with him, is he a czar like martz?
  12. interesting article about the KHL http://www.thestar.com/sports/hockey/international/article/1111783--khl-gun-slinging-owners-drug-planting-and-dodgy-air-travel-all-part-of-the-game?bn=1\
  13. rattle off 111 more in a row, and the series between us will be tied. voldemort would never allow that
  14. Which radio personality? EDIT: Nevermind, found that it's Nick Wright. he made it sound like pioli is really really paranoid.
  15. that means nothing for us unless he wants to be our passing coordinator, which he won't.
  16. i heard an interview on the score with a KC radio personality saying that the pioli regime is horrible and anyone and everyone are looking to get out, and that this not only gives emery a promotion, but a way out of that weirdness and hostile work environment. he had good things to say about emery, but whatever, i'm unconvinced.
  17. Biggs or Briggs?
  18. i'm just pointing out that he's not much better than knox.
  19. the thing is that his catch rate wasn't very good, either. it's much closer than you think. like i said, per play, knox is much more efficient receiver.
  20. i just don't think johnson is much better, if at all. 2011 REC Yards TDs 82 1073 10 37 727 2 2010 REC Yards TDs 76 1004 7 51 960 5 Yeah, clearly they are neck and neck :bye: considering johnson was targeted twice as many times as knox this year, those counting stats for 2011 don't mean much. knox was actually much better per play in 2010 than johnson, much better.
  21. good hire, wish the bears had him.
  22. i just don't think johnson is much better, if at all.
  23. i'm looking through football outsiders and they really don't like our offense at all. i mean, forte is ranked in the 30's and 40's in the important metrics, cutler is 21st, i don't get it. however, they love our defense.
  24. knox's drop rate is better than johnson's, i believe, as johnson has had some pretty notorious drops, but johnson is a little better at getting open. i don't really remember johnny making many drops, but i do remember him falling down a lot.
  25. Forget the people, what were the rest of the words in those sentences? The Chicago Bears (probably won't have a chance to sign) Steve Johnson. he's not really the big receiver that we need. he's more of a johnny knox-type. He's as close to being a "big receiver" as he is to being a Knox type. At least he's a real receiver and not just a guy who goes out for passes. football outsiders doesn't see them as being much different. knox has more value per play, johnson has more total value. i'd rather have aw big target.
