  1. brandon paul played out of his mind
  2. But, but, but, '05. and he's been through so much!
  3. lol, this coach is the worst
  4. lol, they just banned me at scout
  5. 24 points against nebraska, 23 points against penn state. this is vintage weber-ball.
  6. penn state is a legendary program, though
  7. I can't imagine what motivation they would have for accepting less. They need a QB, and he's going to help whoever that is just by being there as a weapon. would have been nice if hanie was any good.
  8. my uncle had the mad mac poster. gastineau's crossed eyes are hilarious, and lester hayes looks like he just bought crack from a cop. also, the bird on dawson's bat is obviously an eagle.
  9. and i'm really not terribly impressed by forte. he's good, but he's not irreplaceable. we have good run blocking and anyone we slot in there and give the ball to 250 times is going to gain 1,000 yards.
  10. Recent precedent doesn't determine final price but it's a really strong indication that nobody should be expecting anything resembling a blockbuster. My guess is you might be able to get something like a decent WR and a 2nd or 3rd rounder, but a 1st, or a 1st and more is probably out of the question. i doubt we're going to get a blockbuster, but maybe a swap of first round picks plus a 2nd rounder or something could be a possibility
  11. it doesn't matter what the recent precedent is, if a team really wants him, they will offer what it takes to get him. we hold the cards.
  12. hub arkush said last night that it will come down to money with philips. but i don't understand that position because if it truly came down to money, then he wouldn't have fired angelo. i'm really hoping for ross, he looks like a wunderkind.
  13. ross kind of sounds like a theo-type.
  14. yeah that win at oakland was signature
  15. I was never a huge fan of Williams if for no other reason that he constantly played Scott Shanle who has never been good and has been especially terrible the last two years. Martez Wilson needed to be playing LB every game this year. Dude can be a beast. tez is a physical specimen, but he tends to lose interest at times.
  16. Seeing as how they're going after Tice, maybe McKenzie wouldn't have minded the coaching situation here.
  17. Sounds like a hot time sorry to interrupt the gay gush parade of "iu is the greatest!!!" vs. "oh poop!" and the boring bum disciples who want to talk about the lewis jackson injury status. oh boy oh boy oh boy Bum disciples, haha, you wish we were as entertaining as da bum. You miss your play toy, and it's cute. What you're really interrupting is Illinois fans calling for Weber's head while you're ranked, tied for first in the B1G, and just beat Ohio St. Please get back to the regularly scheduled programming. at least you didn't mention purdue

  19. so that piece of [expletive] peoriaman posts yet another update thread on stan simpson, revelling in his struggles. SSR responds: "stay classy, pman", i follow it up with "hahaha", and the giant turd deletes both posts and tells us to "grow up". everyone pretty much wished simpson well in the thread, then he makes another dumb ambiguous post and i come back with "pman loves stan simpson", which he deletes and sends me a PM "you're pressing your luck". what a tool.
  20. not much. they'd be best served firing capers and going back to whatever they were before.
  21. But even with more health on that side of the ball the results didn't turn out better. That's.......a bit confusing. The Gnats exposed some big holes that have been brewing for awhile. And Rodgers was very, very human for the first time in a long time today. He was. The Giants had a great game plan. Honestly, the defense was baffling to me. Last year with so many key guys out it was so good, and this year being relatively healthy it completely sucked. Something needs to be done, but I have no idea what that "something" is. Pray that Nick Collins can come back, sign someone like Calais Campbell or Mario Williams, and draft a whole lot of defense. That's about all you can do. I think this year showed how important Collins and Cullen Jenkins were on last season's team. nick collins is too busy teaching himself how to talk and feel pain again.
  22. http://www.terezowens.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/85-bears.jpg
  23. yes one of these
  24. for a former #1 overall pick who plays in a huge market i think he's weirdly underrated. i don't put him with brees, brady, rodgers but i'd say he is right there with the next group (rivers, romo?, stafford?, vick). i guess i'd go #5 right now - brees/brady/rodgers in whatever order, then rivers, then e. manning. After the year Rivers just had I would put him ahead of Rivers IMO. But I would still put Peyton ahead of both of them. i have no idea what to do with manning because he's old and injured. plus he's just not going to put up vintage peyton manning numbers any more because his team is awful now. you are forgetting about the zombie-fighter
