bruce's offense can only be described as an abortion. we have all of these talented players, bertrand, paul, leonard, richardson, and we have terrible spacing, people are often running into each other while the passes simply go around the perimeter, no flashing in the lane, no effective cutting. all i see are guys trying to come off of screens out at the 3-point line. it's pathetic and so easy to game plan for. nobody does anything.

Hahahah, oh boy. When the boats sinking, make fun of the iceberg. Great strategy. It's Wisconsin's worst team in quite some time, right? If Illinois wanted to be more than a [expletive] bubble team, they had to win today. "Worst" is relative. Yes, this is a down year, but they're 16-5, with 4 of those losses being top 20 teams. They'll still end up around 22-9 and make the tourney for the 14th straight year. Agreed, if Illinois was actually an improving program, they should have won today, especially with Wisc missing their FTs. Instead they continue to slide to middle of the pack since dee/deron/etc. i think that you think that you're zinging illini fans when you probably haven't read the last few pages of the thread at all.

if they do hire a black guy, it will be long overdue. i still like mack though and think he's the best candidate.

like i said, let's hire chris mack after this season rather than let someone else hire him. we'd likely be able to keep all of our players and maybe have a presence in ohio.

We are gonna lose this game. I hate that I have to do the same. we are stuck in this 9-9 hell and we need to get out of it. but we'll likely wind up .500 make the tourney as an 11 seed, get bounced in the first round and people like pman will consider it a success.

i understand why henry isn't getting time, but playing maniscalco over abrams is just dumb. abrams isn't great yet, but he's shown more than the alternative.

i think it's weird when people excuse his behavior as "human" when he did the opposite of what a human does in that situation.

He was a football coach, not a messiah (which yes, I know some PSU people would have you believe). What happened sucked but really? He didn't rape kids and it's hard to put yourself in that kinda situation and say you would have acted immaculately. this is implying that YOU might not have said anything and YOU believe others wouldn't have either. you are from the moon.

Yes, it is too bad. He had a terrible lapse in judgment. Doesn't mean anyone should be happy he's dead. Never said I was happy he's dead. The thing that bugs me now is how everyone is canonizing St. JoePa as the greatest man who ever lived. Holy hyperbole that was tongue-in-cheek hyperbole, dingus. but you get the point.
