Forget the people, what were the rest of the words in those sentences? The Chicago Bears (probably won't have a chance to sign) Steve Johnson. he's not really the big receiver that we need. he's more of a johnny knox-type.

he's got a pimp qb, he's got a pretty versatile running back coming off a pro-bowl, he's got a line that needs a little tweaking but with some very good pieces. he needs to get a receiver and then re-stock the defense.

these are the chicago bears, the true original franchise whose owner built the league and we can't get anything more than a guy who hasn't done anything and is skipping a rung on the ladder for the job.

I hope so too, but at this point, I'm 95% sure it will be the dude from KC who used to be here. 1. He used to work for the Bears. 2. He's worked with Ruskell before. 3. Apparantly the new guy has to keep Ruskell and Lovie. He seems the most likely to do so for more than 1 year. But Ross is everything this franchise needs. A young up-and-coming football mind who could be here for the long haul and create some stability in the organization. I'm all in on Ross and will be extremely disappointed with Emery. agreed.

Yes I am. Did you not read my entire post? Did you not read McQueary or Paterno's testimonies? Paterno was never told a rape occurred. But again, why worry about the facts we know? of course it wasn't rape, they were just horsing around. jeez, as if the other paterno apologists didn't drop their pants in this thread, we now have captain crazy preening for the crowd.

It deceives the other team. i dont get the penalty either. just spot the ball at the point of the fair catch eh, it's kind of unsportsmanlike conduct. that's what i'd call it anyway. plus, not calling a penalty might encourage other teams to start doing the half-wave and hope the refs don't catch it. i mean, if there's no penalty for it, why not try it?
