  1. best team in history
  2. does he run something similar to what linehan runs? if so, i'm cool with that.
  3. Well, it's not our biggest problem. The D-line was nothing special this year. I thought they were rather good Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk Bears were tied for 19th in sacks with 33. Brad Biggs wrote an article about the position this morning. They weren't awful or anything, but they didn't have QB's trembling in fear or anything. Sacks are also a function of how many you rush. The Line is more likely to get sacks if you blitz more. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
  4. I think guys like Dick LeBeau (notwithstanding last night's unfortunate result; his body of work is far greater than one loss) and Bill Belichick can scheme a 3-4 to beat just about any offense. You can put a ton of pressure on offenses when the O-Line has to do a lot of thinking about where the blitz is coming from. Why on earth would we switch to a 3-4 when defense isnt our problem? 6. Yeah, but Eagles fans are the most racist and worst people on earth.
  7. you don't believe
  8. That's pathetic. And infuriating. It said something about people internally wanting status quo. That's called job security. Makes sense, it is up to Ted to see past that. DO YOU TRUST TED TO SEE THAT FAR???? I'm not sure I do. and if "people internally" means Lovie Smith, then what? I'm worried. I think it means Ruskell himself, plus scouts and staff. I don't trust Ted much, but the Angelo firing showed balls and I'm pretty sure George wants him looking outside organization Yeah. Ruskell knows he's out of a job if someone else is brought in. They owe the new guy that much. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
  9. I think the 25,000 + KSU fans at the Cotton Bowl last night plus the almost 12,000 today in Bramlage prove you wrong. Just because I'm one of maybe 2 or 3 on NSBB doesn't mean anything. If you don't give a [expletive] about them, don't reply. It's that simple. i don't give a [expletive] about them, but you are an amusing person. i love your visits, it's like when mhuber comes around.
  10. they won't hire ruskell unless absolutely no one wants the job.
  11. interesting ideas there. now tell me, do you like thick onion gravy?
  12. nobody on earth except this guy gives a [expletive] about kansas [expletive] state
  13. 25 points is incredible, that's almost half of the team's total. Why can't Bruce ever give a true compliment? Why must everything be a slight? God I hate the man. in the guy's defense, the other comments he made about bertrand were very complimentary. if DJ's going to be out for a few games, we need to get myke into the starting lineup.

  15. Paul is also a good slasher. His problem is that he thinks he's also a good shooter, and people will give him the shot every time. he's a legendarily bad shooter.
  16. bertrand is actually a very effective slasher, something we haven't had in a long time. i hope he keeps it up.
  17. you're hatred for lahair is approaching tisdale-ian proportions.
  18. yikes, i'm having nightmares thinking what baker's WAR would be at first base if there for an extended time.
  19. Keep in mind that he also suffered from non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2008. Part of the increase in stats is moving to the PCL. Part of it is maturing as a player. Part of it is also getting further away from his disease. but that's the good hodgkins, right? no, non-hodgkins is the bad kind of lymphoma. hodgkins is much more treatable. for example, the guy who played spartacus died of non-hodgkins and mario lemieux had hodgkins.
  20. i think the bears could pick up AJ Jenkins with a 3rd rounder, and i belive he's a first round talent.
  21. when they're still calling castro a rapist in 2019 tell me if it's annoying this isn't even close to as serious as what happened with kobe. no one really cares anymore about what he did or didn't do.
  22. he's a kid, though. he goes out and gets drunk, some drunk comes home with him and blacks out after who knows what happened. is the lesson here not to go out and drink and pick up chicks? that seems a bit limiting since that's one of the huge perks of being a pro athlete.
  23. i thought hawkeyes's argument was pretty appropriate without painting you as a heretic.
  24. Trenidad Hubbard was routinely putting up mid-.900 OPS' in his late 20's-early 30's. Would it have been unnerving if the only difference between a 21 year old CF in AAA and Trenidad Hubbard was age? yeah, it's a pretty odd argument to make. age is a pretty huge thing, you can't hold his mashing of the pcl against rizzo, that's what he was supposed to do.
