  1. I'll take the Barrett is My Idol package. I'd love the jersey, but considering i've got an autographed Ernie Banks one in my closet waiting for a bigger place with a free wall, I'm not gonna push the wife with 2 jerseys.
  2. I think it's a reference to bunting and hit-and-running. Or winning. I have no idea.
  3. I have to go with The Life of Brian as the #1 Monty Python. Gotta agree with Vance on this one. It's funny how over here that movie is almost universally agreed upon to be the best Python film, while in the UK the Life of Brian is the #1 Python film.
  4. How about CUBS FAN HERE GOD HATES ME
  5. Yeah, we can bat him behind A-Rod on the days that Schmidt pitches. Sounds fantastic to me.
  6. that was a strike Looked low to me. Not only does God hate you, but he has blessed you with the gift of poor visual acuity.
  7. If the Mets lose this, and I don't see how they wouldn't, I blame the guy running the PA FX system.
  8. well, at least the player that everyone but the Mets knows sucks is up.
  9. God would I love Molina to throw the ball into right field.
  10. along with God hating you. Apparently God loves me and has chosen to spare me the pain of watching the Cardinals win the pennant by sending his second flood no, he hates you
  11. The wallet-stealing guy? There goes the neighborhood.
  12. Why? Geoff Blum is a valuable Left-handed hitter off the bench. He can pretty much play anywhere on the field. He has some power in his bat, and he puts the bat on the ball. I love his versatility. hehe, no offense to your idea, but every phrase of your post is a "bad player" cliche. :) I said he has some power in his bat, and he puts the bat on the ball. When putting the bat on the ball results in an out over 70 percent of the time, it's not a valuable skill. Blum's OBP for the past three years: 293, 296, 266. He also doesn't have much pop either. Slugging over the last three years: 366,345, 348. For those numbers, we might as well let Cedeno have that spot. He's just as versatile as Blum. And the person who compared him to Macias was right on the money. Macias' OBP in his last three years: 274, 293,273. Macias' SLG in his last three years: 316, 376, 353. No Blum has no value. He's pretty worthless when it comes to evaluating a major leaguer. he can't even play in the heat of summer.
