    I was like "wow, Neifi and Mabry both had a warp of 1? Then i saw that it was POINT 1. Ahhhhhhh f them. yeah shouldnt they be negative numbers? or is that a different stat. Maybe i should just stick to BA and W-L. It basically says they're replacement level if the difference in wins between them and a replacement player over the course of an entire season is .1 win. Which, consequently, means they're approximately 1 run above replacement-level (taking into account offense and defense) over the course of 162 games in the role they played. Impressive. The BP definition: Wins Above Replacement Player, level 1. The number of wins this player contributed, above what a replacement level hitter, fielder, and pitcher would have done, with adjustments only for within the season. It should be noted that a team which is at replacement level in all three of batting, pitching, and fielding will be an extraordinarily bad team, on the order of 20-25 wins in a 162-game season.

    I'm kind of annoyed that Roma drew Lyon, because now it likely won't be shown over here. I was hoping for an EPL team. Also, Adu better only be in MLS for another half-season.

    That was pretty sweet. Not too sounds too Cardinal fan-ish here, but I always enjoy home fans supporting an away team's effort or performance. Here's a Here's a crazy angle from Super Frankie Lampard this season against Barcelona is a monster Champions League match. I still don't undertand how this went in. that goal was totally nuts. Also, I really enjoyed the Jose Mourinho power slide celebration from that game.

    Check out this goal from scored the same weekend as Ronaldinho's. The replay at about 48 seconds really shows off how ridiculous it was.

    And what makies Duncan and Mazzone so special as PC? Mazzone lived off of Smoltz, Maddux, and Glavine for atleast 14 yrs. Outside of those three HOFers, Mazzone was pretty much an average pitching coach. And outside of Carpenter, Duncan hasn't done much in St. Lou. He has had more talented pitchers lost then pitchers he help. I mean Smith, Ankiel, Al. Benes, etc, etc. So again...why are Mazzone and Duncan the end all to all pitching coaches? Duncan repeatedly has turned mediocre journeymen into solid pitchers. And Mazzone has been the PC for an enormous number of pitchers' best seasons, including Kevin Millwood, Steve Avery, Kyle Farnsworth, Mark Wohlers, Ligtenberg and a host of other more or less mediocre middle relievers that he got the most out of. Both of their staffs have routinely been better than those of Larry Rothschild. I assume you are aware that the Braves didn't dump him, they traded him for JD Drew. him and a bunch of crap scrubs that certainly weren;t the really interesting part of the deal.
