  1. Tejada single, long fly out by Berkman to advance the runner to second, Carlos Lee double Lee's was a single and then he advanced on the Fuku error. Are you sure? 2 base error on the overthrow out of play? Or did he advance to second on the throw, third on the error. Tejada scored on the hit, Lee got two bases on the overthrow.
  2. At least Ed Wade fails to notice that. Thanks Ed!
  3. Mike Hampton needs to get injured again. Stl 2 Atl 0 T1 LAA 0 NYY 0 B1 COL 0 FLA 0 Delay Phi 0 WSH 0 B1 Later: SEA TEX CWS MIN ARI LAD Final: CUBS 11 Mil 4 DET 4 CLE 9
  4. Seeing Johnson accidently throw one after the horn went of in SanFran, and get it accross for a called strike, was hilarious.
  5. Well, he is from Louisiana... oh wait, no, he's from California.
  6. According to Gameday, Ball 1 was in pretty much the same place as Strike 2
  7. he got bit by a shark watching shark week Wrong, he watched shark week and the went out and bit a shark.
  8. Very frustrating baseball player. Very stupid baseball player. Gotta walk Braun here. For those of us without CSNC, what happened?
  9. Nothing about Andruw is fast anymore. And I loved at the beginning of the year where Pierre seemed to be doing well, finally figuring out that he needed to take pitches, only now to prove that that was a fluke.
  10. lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll right on cue He has a blister and he's going to miss a week. It's not the end of the world. lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll right on cue The overreaction to an obvious joke.
  11. I don't know if this is what you are intending to do here, but if you are lumping Hamilton's faith in with everyone else who believes in a G-d you are revealing a bias that inhibits your logic. Go read FireJoeMorgan.
  12. Proving once again that ERA is a horrible way to judge a reliever, considering that since May 17th, in the 28 outings, he has had 10 where he gave up any runs, and 5 where he gave up more than one. So basically, because of 5 bad outings since May 17, 3 of them in the last few weeks, his era has jumped.
  13. Yeah, really would have let Fontenot swing away, especially with Wilson walking the batter before him and now starting out 2-0, but doesn't matter now. Thank you Reed for continuing to somehow not be useless against RHP when it really counts.
  14. Right, because Fontenot has been such an offensive black hole lately.... Way to snip the post. I was responding to how he said to get a runner into position for Theriot, despite the fact that there would be 2 batters still to come. I didn't say they would be automatic outs, but that the runner would probably score before Theriot got the chance.
  15. Now the bunt wouldn't be the worst thing, but with the way Fontenot has been swinging lately, I rather he swing away.
  16. why the hell not ... we need one run to end it and theriot gets more hits than anyone so getting someone into scoring position before he bats is smart Yeah, but first both Fontenot and Johnson bat, so Theriot would probably never get the chance.
  17. I know bunting is considered antiquated in this day and age, but I love when a guy can just drop one down out of nowhere and leg it out. Bunting for a hit isn't bad, if its something unexpected, and can get a hit, its fine. In this case Fuku had it go up, not down, and Castillas dove but missed.
