They got lucky... There's a big big difference between the two though, the first one Kelly a slow footed catcher, wasn't running 270 feet to try and outrun a throw, a 3B coach should know his baserunners and know outside of a errant throw he going to be nailed, and also know who is coming up afterwards, which was Castro. There's being aggressive and theres being stupid, this send was being stupid.

Counsell needs a new 3B coach, I dont care if theres 2 outs and they've been struggling for runs , that was a terrible send with a slow footed catcher. I'd take my chances with Castro up with runners on 2nd and 3rd

Off topic but important to the division race, Brewers just scratched Mis from his start and placed him on IL. Frelick knee is day to day Chourio on 10 day IL Maybe the baseball gods are done helping the Brewers 😅😅😅

I actually feel that the max they go with Tucker is 10/400, unless they front load money, I dont think theyll want to be paying Tucker 40+ mil while hes in his late 30s going into his 40s, he'll be 29 at the start of next season. Of course if TR plans on selling in the next 10 years then it could be different 🤷♂️😆

For me it just gives an idea on how they have been playing the last what 2 months, and continuing this pace isnt likely going to get them the division unless the Brewers fall flat. Hot start, mediocre middle, now they have to at least finish somewhere in between the two these last 52 games. 32 and 20 would be pretty good heading into the playoffs.

I just went back since the break, didn't realize they've been 500 this long. They need to figure something out these final 50+ games. They likely need to finish at least 32-20 to finish ahead if thd Brewers, unless the Brewers go into a funk themselves and start playing 500 ball for the next month.

This.. just stick with Hoerner at leadoff and break up the lefties a bit vs lefties and righties starters. Hoerner Tucker Suzuki PCA Kelly Happ Busch Swanson Shaw Castro can be used anytime

Something needs to happen to get this team rolling again, 500 ball last 14 games isnt going to cut it. Not like they can go get anyone to get them a spark, it up to the regulars on the roster now.

Castro is exactly the type of guy they needed for the bench, they can insert him to give guys a day off and he'll give them quality AB, unlike the other knuckleheads they had/have.
