Sorry about the repeats, don't know what happened

Years ago they actually continued games that were tied before and after 5 innings completed, and canceled/restarted games that were called before 5 innings were played no matter the score ( other then tie). I remember the famous game between Cubs and Dodgers that was suspended due to darkness (no lights at WF) in the 17th inning and was continued the next day and went 21 innings in 1982.

Never been a fan of Boog since ESPN, he's boring to me. I know I've been spoiled with Cubs announcers since Brickhouse in late 70s but IMO those are the type of PBP guys your local teams should have calling games, not some national TV guy that just likes to spew weird stats and boring conversations with whomever sitting next to him.

That the matchups I've waited for in this series.. Imanaga vs Ohtani and Freeman I hope the cubs bats are on today, not cause I think Imanaga will have trouble, but because I want to see a win today and head back on the road on a good note.

Throwing another 10 pitches wouldn't make his arm fall off, plus he had an extra day off going into this game and he'll have an extra day off before his next start.

Kid dealing and making big pitches, let him get out of his own situation there. Outside of the 3 late inning relievers, they dont exactly have a reliable bullpen.
