Ok, but it was a response to someone, I didn't just bring it up on my own. My original response to one poster was that in my feelings we might see Mervis come up at some point this season. My response to another poster was that if Busch isn't hitting in May, we could see Mervis come up then. So yea it could be unlikely, but it not like I just posted it out of the blue, they were responses to another poster as my opinion what could happen at some point later in season.. But a couple of yous are acting like I'm saying it should be done today or like I'm making a blanket post on my own here, when they were clearly my thought/opinion in response to someone else. Go Cubs

That great you can have your opinions and thoughts, shouldn't we all 🤷♂️ I said the same about Morel that if he not doing well defensively that they will likely replace him with someone from system or trade if there a 3Bmen available. Same with Busch, if he hitting 200 later in May or so and Mervis or doneone else is hitting well, we might see a switch there too.

Lol, yea that what I said.. Guy post that he hopes Busch can get going, I said yes as in me too, but added that I think we may see Mervis again later in the season. Another poster wanted to compare what I had said to him about him wanting to dump Morel now from 3B as it being only 3 games in to being the same thing as what I had posted saying above. I responded with that it was not even close to being the same but yea IF Busch was struggling come MAY we might see Mervis return and Busch sent to Iowa to work on things.. So, No I didn't clearly say to send Busch to Iowa now and bring Mervis up now, like he was saying to take Morel off of 3B now.

Did I say anything negative about Busch ? No, I just said we might see Mervis again later in season and then I said we might see him get another opportunity and especially IF Busch is struggling come May.. Big Big difference there

Didn't say I didn't like him, I actually agreed and said yes. Just part of me thinks they might give Mervis another look at some point this season if Busch struggle continues into May, they might consider sending him down til he gets his swing going.

Tauchman is in the lineup because outside of Mastrobuoni, they dont have a lefty bat that capable of DHing most every game. Wisdom will return in a week or two and will likely be the DH for the most part, my guess is that Madrigal or Cooper will be the odd man out when he returns. They need to add a more capable LH bat to DH
