One can only hope but with Girardi gone we may see him more. I'm really not a fan of the inconsistencies in the booth with Marquee and them having guys rotating in and out. If Boog and JD can't do 162 and need time away then go get 2 people who can. I guess I'm just old school who enjoyed Harry and Stone, then eventually Len Kasper with Brenly and then JD. I like Alex Cohen when he does play by play for Iowa and fills in for the Cubs sometimes

Yea he's too positive with every player on this team, he'd be telling us how good Koyie Hill, Vitters, and Descalso will be if they were playing today 😅

I feel Madrigal will be gone when Wisdom returns and if not one of the kids from Iowa that ready to come up then possibly a trade for an upgraded bat will make Mastrobuoni disappear, I just dont see him providing much offensively when needed. I like to have guys on the bench that you can put in for 2-3 games or more if a regular has to take a couple days off or goes on Il for an injury or whatever reason and you can trust their replacement can at least be somewhat productive over that time to help the lineup and not just be a hole in the lineup that just filling a spot. That what I see Mastrobuoni and Madrigal as being, a hole in the line up when their in it.

Wow, gonna be keeping an eye on Joe Nahas this season.. Nice outing, bases loaded no outs comes in relief and gets out of it by striking out 3

I dont expect to see Mastrobuoni or Madrigal on the roster come July or sooner, there will be upgrades available by then.

That what I'm thinking, come second half and deadline we're going to see them add guys who will either help them with a playoff push and or start adding the ready prospects that will be part of 2025.

Cubs bench will likely be a revolving door all season, it wouldn't surprise me if by July we see 2 or 3 of these players gone from the team. I hope outside of Amaya, we don't have to see any of these guys get more then 1 start a week top just to keep fresh.

Morel is going to be given a pretty good chunk of games to show he can handle 3B, especially if he's hitting good. Madrigal is nothing more then depth for them

I'm ok with Mastrobuoni, Madrigal is just useless for my liking. I'm hoping he the one who gets bumped when Wisdom returns

We could see at least 2 of the 4 as regulars.. PCA in CF and either Caissie or Alcantara, I don't see it necessarily as rebuilding if they are as good as they have shown. Cubs have a few solid position prospects that will be ready over the next 2 seasons, cant trade them all. Theyll have 2 seasons left with Happ and Suzuki after this year, both can bring in solid returns in trades.

Sox released Moustakas, I wouldn't mind getting him for DH, and 1B, 3B option as a LH bat.

Dom Smith opted out.. Waiting to hear what CJ Edwards, Cooper, and David Peralta has decided to do. Cubs have one 40 man spot available(Sunday) if they decide to keep one of those 3 if they didn't opt out . Holding out hope they add another big bat that available for DH
