Maton in the game, white flag time

Crowd is ruthless tonight towards PCA with every flyball hit to him 😅😅

Be nice to see some offense

Lol, I remember when Zach said Horton injury was his left shoulder. Now it limping but it a blister 😅

Yep they were in first and dropped with that streak and never recovered

Happ gonna have 100 Ks by the 81 game mark. 70 Ks

Blister, he'll be ok

Definitely... Rick Sutcliffe (SP): Suffered a partial tear of his left hamstring in May. After an early return, he suffered a groin strain, shoulder tenderness, and was later sidelined again in September after an infamous stationary exercise bike fall. Dennis Eckersley (SP): Sidelined during the season due to a shoulder injury. Scott Sanderson (SP): Spent time on the DL due to elbow/arm injuries. Steve Trout (SP): Missed significant time due to arm and shoulder injuries. Dick Ruthven (SP): Spent time on the DL after a freak injury where he was hit in the foot by a line drive, resulting in a broken toe.

Hope you all enjoyed that 20-3 run, that just may be the highlight of the 2026 season

Im sure whomever replaces him in the rotation if it something serious will suck more

Lol... now Cabrera hurt They're shot

This one over 20-3, on their way to 2-9 since 🤦

Hey, another runner LOB

With no day off for another 11 days after Thursday, theyre better off giving everyone that extra day rest

Not his fault but there's your 3 runs Cabrera gives up

Lol... Little league inside the parker

Crazy part is one of them noticed that... How do you see the bat hit a lace

Fowler

Brewers getting every close call and weird call (foul tip) in their favor tonight

They haven't named any starters yet for that series, dont know why it just wouldn't be Taillon, Rea, and Imanaga per usual

Been bad over his last 15 games, might be time to send him down and get some work in. .061/.130/.122/.252 12 Ks

They definitely need pitching, and I was hoping with the offense being pretty much intact, that Hoyer would be more aggressive in that department over the offseason. Instead he made 1 big move, trading for Cabrera and kept everything else the same, including adding hopeful rejects for the bullpen. I understand injuries has hurt them, but he could of traded a 1, 2 or all 3 of Rea, Boyd, or Taillon for whatever he could get to clear money and added a better upgrades for the rotation.

Hoyer and Theo for that matters, likes to hold their guys and not trade high on them when/if the opportunity comes. We can agree up until this past offseason, Hoyer hasn't had the money to spend, so he looks for bargains for the bullpen and bench and he pretty much has stuck with the young guys that came through organization or traded for. Let look at current position players. Amaya, Hoerner, Happ, PCA , Shaw, Ballesteros all came up through Iowa. Busch came from Dodgers organization Nicky Lopez, cheap journeyman bench guy Suzuki was purchased from Japan Conforto, low cost FA signing for bench Kelly was a low cost FA sign to be backup C Swanson was his first big FA sign (position player) after coming off his career year and hes been in a decline offensively each year here. Bregman is his second biggest FA signed position player and so far hes been nothing but a disappointing singles hitter with zero ability to hit with RISP. So, this is why the Cubs offense has been mostly stagnant the last couple years, because it is the same group of guys, and despite having some talent, they are not guys that can carry a team for the bulk of a season, these are guys you have to wait and hope for them to go on hot streaks together. If youre hoping for a change this coming offseason you can put that aside because all but 2 (Happ, Suzuki)are signed to be back, and it wouldn't surprise me if Hoyer decides to bring one or both of them back next season and if he lets one go, his replacement is likely coming up from Iowa.(Alcantara).

Too much guessing, maybe hes still hearing banging of the cans and expects breaking pitches. 🙄🙄🙄😅😅😅

Do we get another fake rally or do they just check it in
